Pfalzkopf is 1998 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located in country Austria 2 km northwest of peak Edelweißspitze and jugo-jugoeast above the mountain pasture Schupfer Hochalm. The nearest mountain hut is Trauneralm, located 2km southwest. A little further is bivouac Gruberscharten-Biwak. 3 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Boggeneikees, 4 km south from the summit there is also glacier Brennkogelkees.
