Rauher Kopf is 1898 meter high peak in the Mieminger Mountains. The peak is located 1.0 km north-northeast of peak Sonnenspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Seeben Alm, located 1.3km east-southeast. bivouac Ganghofers Rast is also relatively close. 6 km west-southwest of the peak there is lake Blindsee. 6 km northeast from the summit there is glacier Schneeferner, 7 km northeast from the summit there is also glacier Höllentalferner.
