Description:
Sonnenspitze is 2416 meter high peak in the Mieminger Mountains. The peak is located 2.0 km west-northwest of peak Vorderer Tajakopf. The nearest mountain hut is Coburger Hütte, located 1.4km southeast. bivouac Ganghofers Rast is also relatively close. 6 km west of the peak there is lake Blindsee. 6 km northeast from the summit there is glacier Schneeferner, 8 km northeast from the summit there is also glacier Höllentalferner.
