Description:
Rauhkopf is 2831 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 3 km west-southwest of peak Mittlere Grinbergspitze (Turm). The nearest mountain hut is Höllensteinhütte, located 3km northwest. A little further is hunting cottage Jagdhütte Wandegg. 4 km southwest from the summit there is glacier Federbettkees, 6 km southwest from the summit there is also glacier Gefrorene Wand Kees. The peak is located east-southeast of the valley Tuxertal.
