The nearest mountain hut is Rieserfernerhütte - Rifugio Vedrette di Ries, located 3km north-northeast. A little further is Kaser Alm. 4 km north-northwest from the summit there is glacier Althauskees - Vedretta di Casavecchia, 6 km north-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Westlicher Rieserferner - Vedretta di Ries occidentale. The peak is located west-northwest of the valley Antholzer Tal - Valle di Anterselva.
