Description:
Schwarzwand is 3164 meter high peak and is part of the Natural Park Gruppo di Tessa. The peak is located 0.7 km northeast of peak Trübwand. The nearest mountain hut is Lodnerhütte - Rifugio Cima Fiammante, located 2km southeast. A little further is bivouac Dr.-Eugen-Guido-Lammer-Biwak. 5 km north from the summit there is glacier Gurgler Ferner. The peak is located northeast of the valley Schnalstal.
