The nearest mountain hut is Stettiner Hütte - Rifugio Petrarca, located 1.5km north. bivouac Zielhütte is also relatively close. 5 km east-southeast of the peak there is lake Langsee - Lago Lungo. 5 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Gurgler Ferner, 8 km northwest from the summit there is also glacier Kleinleitenferner. East of the summit is the valley Kamltal.
