Description:
Schafschneide is 2846 meter high peak in the Natural Park Gruppo di Tessa. The peak is located in country Italy 1.8 km north-northeast of peak Hohe Weiße - Cima Bianca Grande. The nearest mountain hut is Stettiner Hütte - Rifugio Petrarca, located 1.4km west. bivouac Bockhütte is also relatively close. 5 km southeast of the peak there is lake Langsee - Lago Lungo. 5 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Gurgler Ferner, 8 km northwest from the summit there is also glacier Kleinleitenferner. East-southeast of the summit is the valley Kamltal.
