Stanzlegg is 2814 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 0.8 km south-southeast of peak Raneburgkogel. The nearest mountain hut is Staudleralm, located 4km northeast. A little further is bivouac Karl-Fürst-Hütte. 6 km west-southwest from the summit there is glacier Hexenkees, 6 km northwest from the summit there is also glacier Karleskees.
