Crazy ... hiking in the mountains will soon become a hobby for the wealthy apparently, because for every little bit such parking fees make your head hurt. I agree that they somehow need to limit it all a bit, since there's more and more traffic, everything parked up already in the early hours, but the heights of these parking fees have gone over all limits. And this will surely stay like that even off-season, when you can pay 10 eur down below, but up there not even the hut will be open

How do you mean laws don't apply? So if police stops me in TNP area or municipal warden catches me on radar, law doesn't apply? Take a look at Bohinj, by the lake speed limit 30 km/h (at the bridge) and law applies for sure, no worry

Yes, the path is under water, trodden to the right of the path. Also further from the hut one part of the path is under water, need to go a bit higher up and after the bridge you get back to the path. It's trodden and nicely traceable.

Well, then we don't need huts at all if we can bring everything with us. I see that everything anyone does is only worth condemnation.. where such thinking leads I prefer not to think.

@miri: That's right, I joined the society and this year as a volunteer helped a couple of weekends in the Hut on Ledine, which also falls under this society, so hikers could get at least drinks, coffee and tea. People were satisfied, me too, although I dedicated my free time to volunteer work, not to my own ascents in the mountains, for which I have time only on weekends. I miss that people realize it can be done, just need to move a bit from zero point 😉 Good luck!

I can just imagine this burlesque, that you get say a camper in front on the Bovec side, can't overtake it and arrive in KG at a time that's no longer average for them and then pay to open the barrier. That'll be fun....

Before entrance to climbing part there was still a bit of snow (9.7.), but can cross it without problem.

When you come down from Razor to the junction where you go left to Križ, it's marked to Bivak IV 2h30min, then from bivak to Vrata another say 1h30min. From Pogačnikov dom to Vrata also about 4h walk, so I think no big time difference. Good luck.
