Hi. I'm interested if there's any very fast web app with topography/sat. images and marked hiking trails for Slovenian territory; at least as fast as Google Earth? Because Slo Geopedia and Pešpoti work so slowly that one grows old waiting, or the app doesn't work at all, not to mention using it on the terrain on a GSM device when searching for a path. Thanks

Would the multi-day tour Slap Savica-Komna-Hut at Krn Lakes-Krn-hut below Bogatin-Triglav Lakes-Zasavska hut-between Vršaki and along Zelnarce to hut at Bohinj Lake-Fužina and Savica be suitable for the inexperienced on secured and very demanding paths?
Thanks for the answers.

Quoting pantani1: "As numerous virologists and vaccine experts warned last year, there are great risks due to harmful side effects when experimental mRNA gene technology is in play. Even the man who invented mRNA (dr. Robert Malone) warned about the dangers of widespread use of these cocktails for genetic manipulation without additional testing." And this testing of effects/efficacy/side effects has been happening nicely since late fall 2020. And nothing is better if FDA, ESA and similar institutions approve such testing; the state must of course pay for the ordered "tests". If the ordered/desired quantity doesn't get used up, the "milk" reward goes to whoever is more obedient. That's why they hammer so hard that folk, or bunnies, get vaccinated, so they can treat themselves to chocolate, not someone else. Well, slowly the truth will come out, it still is and it will too. Otherwise it's already showing a bit that convincing the world population isn't going exactly as per the desired scenario. In a case like Down Under, we can only wonder if that's how the previously announced WWIII will start; with main actors pharmacists and not arms dealers?

In all this covid madness and the fact that it's topic no.1 on the whole planet for a good year and a half now, another side is being forgotten. That there are too many people on the planet is a fact and the planet, nature absolutely cannot process this mass and quantity of all the shit we humans produce, and regenerate normally and function normally. Besides us there are also animals and there are huge numbers of them too. And in the rush for cov information the problem of overpopulation and polluting the planet is getting lost and pushed aside, but it's clear that every year nature is more aggressive, events are bad, but once nature has had enough, then the real selection of humanity will begin, very very few will remain. Actually Cov is not the problem, the real problem is being covered up by Cov, but very very little is said about it, or nothing. Leave cov, go outside, enjoy what we still have. Because as it seems and with what speed things with nature are unfolding, it will soon be very very turbulent. Too soon. Best regards

Yes, some still behave irresponsibly despite GRS warnings about current dangerous conditions in the mountains. Irresponsibly to themselves, especially to GRS and PZS. regards

Well, won't get past home by car anyway, so gotta go on foot from there... then hope you'll hear Bobnar from Brana somewhere near Žagana peči... that sound really makes you think and reconsider going up in such conditions. And give GRS some peace with right decisions. Otherwise everyone knows how they'll decide and answer for their actions accordingly; we're old enough, right.

One metaphor on the forum...Link velik nasmeh

Madonca, you guys are really good. Every winter you polemicize around conditions, gear, etc... and never get to the end. If a mountaineer is proper, he already knows when it is time to go to the mountain, what is needed for that and does not ask here. For the less experienced in these conditions, I recommend a mountain guide, who is a seasoned old cat, only then will he learn many things, and safely experience winter beauties. If he reads all this, he will surely go up on his own. How all that ends, no need to go further.

And a safe and smart step nasmeh

Isn't this the thread about winter Brana? Idea: installation of warning signs at starting points Kamn.Bistrica-Okrešelj-Kamniško sedlo-Turska gora, with text that the tour to Brana or similar peaks is at own risk and rescue in case of irresponsible behavior is chargeable. I think we lack paid rescue like abroad. Only with that some order and behavior in mountains is established; and consequently fewer potential passengers on Okrešelj express.

Well, yeah, I meant at Mareta on Jerški there's a fair price for such a measure, over two is already a bit high.
bostjanp30. 11. 2015 15:37:38
@Tinky: wouldn't know where else to find such Merc coffee at that price. In foggy valley and long shopping centers surely not. But up here with nice views while drinking such coffee you feel like god, eh

There's one more. Chuck Norris would do it in 2:30, and that in reverse... or "blindfolded" velik nasmeh

@tol: if those countless bumps on the right and left are meant, they are the result of drivers in newer cars forgetting to turn off the wheel slip prevention system. As long as that system didn't exist, the gravel tracks were good to drive on, without banging the shock absorbers.
bostjanp12. 06. 2015 15:06:31
What about the path from the hut at Ledine to Ledinski vrh - normal approach?
Thanks
