I was there last year in August and really it's an adventure, at least for me who has short arms and legs ; needed quite some gymnastics to grab and cross the water, picture 8, second crossing is easier. Continued to Ostro peč.

katja87, great descriptions and photos from all your tours, we looked at Viš on Thursday from Špik nad nosom, but the weather wasn't as nice as you had. Good luck on your paths further.

Interesting, crowd on Montaž ..... 3.7, when the two of us went to Montaž we spent the whole day with ibexes that just wouldn't leave us, we met no hikers. Maybe due to the forecast of bad weather, but it held and the view was good too. On the Pipan ladder real enjoyment as no one chased us

On Saturday in nice weather on Cold Mountain from Logarska valley. Really respectable, but not too hard for experienced mountaineer. Quite a few visits to the peak, even those with shaking knees and fear in eyes, like we met on descent Path from Okrešelj was besieged, processions of hikers towards Savinjsko sedlo. Anyway - another nicely spent day in the mountains' embrace Regards,

Has anyone been to Mangart after the snowfall? Is the road passable to the saddle? Thanks for the reply. Regards

I completely agree with you otiv, that's why we preferred to overnight at Stanič's hut on Wednesday (where not everything is OK either) and head to Triglav in the morning. The queue to the father doesn't bother me, but individuals' behavior. It does bother me when a helicopter circles above me, as happened on Thursday during descent to Prag. Despite the effort and heat (up Tominšek's back over Prag) we spent two great days in the mountains, and at the end refreshment in Lake Bohinj. Best and safe steps.
