Yesterday I did a circular trail from the village Rut to Rodica, then continued towards Črna prst and then descended to Kal and on to Stržišče. From there along the geological trail to Rut.

The trail is without features (no snow anywhere anymore), quite a few people on the peaks.

Tolminski Kuk from T. Ravne via planina Kal. Path passable without winter gear. You step on snow only in two parts, which are 3m wide (can be bypassed). Otherwise the path is dry. North side still deeply under snow. Path to Vrh nad Škrbino also still under snow.
Conditions will probably change now as it will snow more.

Yesterday on Tolmin Migovec from Planina Kal. The path is passable without winter gear. At a few spots you need to step on snow, but it can be bypassed or it's safe since the snow is on flat ground. nasmeh Conditions might change now that it's going to rain/snow.

Since nice weather awaits us next week, I'd write something about conditions. nasmeh
On Friday the 13th I went to Porezen from Davča. The path was partially trampled to the summit of Kopa, but no further. From there I waded to my knees. Somewhere there was soft snow, somewhere it partially broke through, somewhere nothing. Overall fitness demanding. nasmeh The upper half of the ridge to Porezen is windblown several meters wide all the way to the summit. Nevertheless, the grasses and path are frozen, hence very slippery. CAUTION!
Yesterday GRS rescued a person who slipped on Porezen and hit their knee.
For now only my footprints on the path (if the wind hasn't covered them). The road to Porezen is not trampled.

On Thursday (12.2.) went to Blegoš from Cerkno ski area. Path trodden, sinks some places but only to ankles. From hut to top trodden too, but very slippery some spots. Caution not superfluous. No winter gear used. Summit blown clean. Views wonderful as usual. nasmeh

There shouldn't be problems with the roads.

For the trail it's like this, now everything is soaked and muddy and there are also quite a few streams that aren't there otherwise. nasmeh

Thanks for opinions and all replies!jezik

Before each tour I gather all info beforehand so no surprises later. nasmeh

Gear will go with me, more interested in your opinion what the path seems like. nasmeh

Will consider and do the tour in reverse. nasmeh

Soon I would do the tour: Zadnjica - Luknja - B. Gamsovec - Dovška Gates - Kriški Plateaus - Zadnjica.

I'm interested if the path is really so exposed that use of via ferrata kit is necessary, or can it be done without?

Thanks for opinions! nasmeh

Yesterday, 2.8.2014 we climbed this peak. At the Čez dol junction you really need to look where the path to the summit is. The path is very overgrown with greenery (nettles like to sting), midway up there are also quite a few fallen small trees, scree overgrows the path so you need to put some effort to reach the summit. nasmeh This happens when the peak isn't visited much. nasmeh But it all pays off when you stand on top and have all the big mountains almost in your palm! velik nasmeh Worth it! nasmeh

You only need to cross one 10m wide snowfield that causes no trouble. You can bypass it too.

Between Cinque Torri and Averau there is really an almost gravel road and the stroller could be pushed. From Averau to Nuvolau, although the path is a bit wider, it's quite rocky and also steep so definitely not for stroller. From what I saw from the top of Nuvolau, there is no such path from Passo Giau to do it with stroller directly to the top of Nuvolau.

If you mean the mountain summit then backpack. nasmeh

Otherwise that area is pure enjoyment! jezik

On Thursday, 3.7.14, the two of us did a circular route to Mahavšček. Planina Polog - Planina Dobrenjščica - Kser - Vrh Škrli - Mahavšček - Mali Bogatin - Vratca (Bogatinsko sedlo) - Prehodci - Planina Polog. We did the tour in a good 11 hours with all stops and in between had to check the map several times. The path is otherwise without peculiarities, no snow patches on the way or they can be easily avoided. Nice tour, quite a lot of shade.smile The only thing I didn't like was that scree slope between Dobrenjščica and the bunker, as it takes quite some energy. smile
