On Saturday to Rombon from Bovec.
From Goričica onwards snow, which is hard and one walks nicely on top.
From Čukla onwards crampons are already needed on some parts, from the Naklo entrance to the top also an ice axe. Naklo, except the lower part where there is some drifted snow, is extremely icy throughout.

Today from Trenta, over Kriške podje to Dolkova špica and back. Quite some snow on way, mostly soft, footprints there, but be careful

Beautiful morning promised a beautiful day. We started in Podklopci at the inn and went towards Zaga, from where the path to High Kanin starts, which also has the highest elevation gain in Slovenia. The path winds partly on an abandoned mulatiera to Planina Baban. The path continues on mulatiera towards Ruši, where there is a junction to V. Babanski skedenj after which we turned left. The path is well trodden. When we reach under Veliki skedenj, around 2000 m, we turn right onto the path with a passage and also a bit off-trail to the path to Lasko planja, we go a bit further and join the path from Gozdec to High Kanin. From here it's still quite long to the summit, as we have to cross the whole plain before reaching the base. Here the harder part starts, towards the summit some climbing is needed, helped by some pegs and wire. The summit has an incredible view. The weather was ideal, also without wind. The descent requires some care, as the path is full of scree and one can slip easily. We continued to the Petra Skalarja hut. From here only downhill, first to the old hut, back to the path to Kanin and on to Gozdec. From there on the MTB trail to the main road and soon back into the forest on the path to Poljanca, through Malenski zleb secured with wire on exposed parts. From Poljanca just a few descents and we were back where we started in the morning. Very nice circular tour ended just before dark.

Hike in incredibly warm weather. Start in Trenta, through Zadnjica valley, then over Komar to Dolič and then to Triglav summit through Bovška škrbina. In the notch there's still some frozen snow, but no problems, tracks are wide.
From the summit back to the notch, then to Planika, Dolič and back to the valley via mulatjera

From Prehodavci direction on Hribarice a couple of snow patches, nothing much, from Dolič dry.

For the path I spent exactly 5 hours.
Length 25 km and 2000 m ascent.

Nice circular path starting in Trenta, through planina Lepoč, Prehodavci, Hribarice to Kanjavec and back over Dolič to Zadnjica valley and Trenta.
There's just a sample of snow.

Start at 670 m. To Goričica at 1350 m dry. Then snow starts and increases to Čukla 1767 m. Up to here well trodden, then towards Rombon still fully snowed, so deep sinking. To the top of "Naklo" at 2000 m quite a lot of snow, from there sunny side, so much less snow and no problems to the summit.
