Looking at the map, I see that the path behind Cmir is not marked, but it's skiable down in winter, right? How much time does the descent take, normal walking, and where is the fastest way from Kredarica? Over Rž, or is there some closer, easier, faster to Stanič. Thanks, lp.

Yes from Obel Stone to Olševa or. Govca the path is a bit exposed in a couple places, needs a bit more caution of course, otherwise the path itself is not difficult at all. That part is maybe 5min. Regards

Really nice description of the path with photos. I'm interested how much time you spent on this path and how old your children are? Mine will be seven and I'm interested because I'm also considering where around Vogel we could go. Did you go down the second day, or perhaps towards the Triglav Lakes? Best regards Borut

We were there yesterday, equally excellent weather, but we almost missed the path from the gate back to Obel kamen. We weren't attentive enough. Although it's on the Austrian side, some Slovenian sign wouldn't hurt. Otherwise nice tour, for our 6-year-old just right adrenaline rush, at moments a bit too much, I think, when you watch the little one going everywhere, you think... Adrenaline, they'd say. It's welcome to know you're not in the city, but in the mountains.
