I was on this path on 6.4. Path itself from KB to Pastirji ok... A bit above them snow starts but no problems (there was one avalanche danger, but surely triggered by now). Hut closed that day (notice already at KB) so we enjoyed chatting with other guests right in winter room. Back I used small crampons, husband not (advantage in body weight). Today I was at Roblek... like the other 100 hikers who used this nice Sunday for a trip to nature.
Path is well trodden, as predecessors already wrote.... there was only a bit of trouble with parking, which is normal with that number of visitors...

Yesterday with wife to Komna and Bogatin..TV forecaster said..lowlands fog-depression mountains sun...so gear in backpack and off to sunshine...Path to Komna nicely trodden, but where snow starts ice appears on path here and there, so using microspikes not "silly" (even more useful on descent when legs a bit tired). At Komna big dose of real coffee and nice chat with hostess, outside sun already calling cheerfully "let's goooo I'm here nice day".. and really nicely trodden path leads us to Bogatinsko sedlo (thanks @jedriličar-ju and group who made such nice track)... at saddle short stop and cheerfully to Bogatin (without gear not recommended.. not too much snow but caution is mother of wisdom).... on top wonderful views, no cloud anywhere ... then safe descent and with smile on face happily home.

I agree with my two predecessors, it's nice to watch Franci's pictures (his camera is worth every cent he paid...that picture with boats..cool.)...
All praise also to others who inform us about conditions and obstacles on the way to the mountains.
Above all, they show us how beautiful our mountains are and of course can also be dangerous....

yes it'll hold...but sometimes it's nice to be alone with yourself...

This morning I went from Tržič to Kriška gora, continued the path to Tolsti vrh and Dom pod Storžičem. The path is nicely passable..... nice hike, but not many hikers choose this path as on the way to Kriška gora I met only one runner.
To Dom pod Storžičem not even that but birds and sunshine keep me company....

I agree with marmer... whoever was this morning at Kredarica or even on Triglav like him and his companion experienced a fairy tale... or like his comment on the way down to the valley "
that was for the soul".. Lp

On Sat 04.05.2013 went from Mač to Kališče on Storžič. Path nicely passable (snow just remnants). Careful on descent as rocks still slippery some places. Lots of visitors on Storžič that day, season open
