I got the idea for the trip from the guide Karavanke (Mušič, Habjan) 2007, which I bought recently. The ascent is rated alpine II, 200m.
Starting point: mine in Topla.

First along the path that leads to the transverse hunting trail, from where through dwarf pine to the scree, where the world itself invites you to enter the ridge. Špičasta peč is the peak on the left, the ridge on the right.
Along the gully to the ridge (good rock) and further into the wild world. High dwarf pine is tiring, some passages are more difficult, and on the right a precipice yawns. Across broken terrain, a bit also along the ridge crest, and again into dwarf pine. There was quite a lot of that today.
After four hours we reach Končnikov vrh 2110m. Both here for the first time, it's wonderful! The peak is truly beautiful, the views are magnificent! We lie on the grass for an hour, then down the knapovska path to the valley. Worth the effort.

Black and White Peak on the Dleskovska Plateau are special ones that do a good job shaking off hikers in those parts. They discreetly hide their charms among more famous, higher brothers and sisters. Both pathless, with lots of brushwood, they easily tire out and satisfy someone who dares to step into their world.

Televrina 2.7.2026

I park the car a bit higher than the Lopari camp.

The marked path first leads me slightly right past Veliki Tržić, and then mostly in the shade to the mountain hut, which is currently open every day except Monday. I continue over Križica and Kalek to the top of Televrina. All the way a moderate bora wind accompanies me and the pleasant smell of the local flora.
From the top I descend towards Sv. Mikula, along the ridge further over Laćo to Počivalica, where I turn left onto the path that leads to Nerezine. From Nerezine to the car I hike the Way of the Cross.
In total a good 18km and 870vm were covered in the loop. The hike is without any special features.

You know, the panoramic isn't as much to my liking as this loop I did today. To Lesnik it's much lonelier, the descent is the cherry on the cake!

A trip to Jerebičje today also serves up plenty of beauties.
This time I leave the car at the larger parking lot before Logarska, from where by bike to Matk and further to Lesnikovo saddle. From the car to the saddle I slowly pedal for two hours, a good nine kilometers.
Higher up at the bend I park the bike, and go up by the hunting trail, down by the ridge. High grasses and heat on the path. Solitary, primordial, unique!
From Lesnikovo saddle I descend by mountain road to Austria to one of the bends, where I turn onto asphalt. About twenty minutes to Pavlič saddle, then enjoyably into the valley.

Alenka, this hike is really wonderful!

Drago, I had in mind to go over the ridge, but we rather pulled a few flat kilometers more, than to collect muggy elevation gains uphill. The path along Logarska is beautiful.
If my watch showed relatively accurately, it was 8km from the turnaround to the chapel, then at least three more to the ramp in the corner. All together about 23km and 1550vm.

Yes, Lintver is a dragon about whom a legend circulates in the Solčava area. Forgotten though because at that place he was peeking out of a hole, and only his tail remained!

The company is really selected

Yesterday up from the direction of Matkov kot, descent to Logarska, then along the path along Logarska to the chapel, and by road back to Matkov kot.

Not much left of the škaf, but the snow tongue is still long enough to go along it to the wall. Immediately from the škaf onwards, all the way to the traverse under the rock barrier, the path is quite broken, a normal step is almost impossible. The ascent was tiring all the way to the beautiful cirque, the ridge to the top is crumbly anyway.
The path to Okrešelj and into Logarska is without major peculiarities.

Front today Nazarje 20:40,North, a bit after that hail, luckily not too big.

Today to Krofička.
Along the marked path I go above the forest line, then over stones and along dwarf pines to the saddle between Travnik and Krofička on the ridge. From the top I descend along the marked path. The snow tongue at the cables is not small, I descend it with an ice axe. It's more comfortable than over the debris around.
Steep to Jama, where in good company I sit longer than usual. At the end I also walk in the direction of Zgornja Jama, through a fairy-tale forest, to the beautiful shoes. Blindly I return to the marked path. Nice trip.
