Black and White Peak on the Dleskovska Plateau are special ones that do a good job shaking off hikers in those parts. They discreetly hide their charms among more famous, higher brothers and sisters. Both pathless, with lots of brushwood, they easily tire out and satisfy someone who dares to step into their world.

I use my family vacation on Cres to do the planned circular tour to Velo Gračište 562m, then to Sv. Blaž beach, and a leisurely crossing towards Cres in the direction of Sv. Salvadur. The whole loop comes to circa 28km and around 1100m elevation. Exact numbers are not known to me, as I didn't measure the ramble, but somewhere on the internet I saw practically the same loop that one gentleman did, with numbers there. Anyway... quite wild and solitary ramble through varied terrain. The hardest part of the path is the descent from Gračište to Sv. Blaž, where stones reign.
Although well marked, the chance to meet someone here, except sheep and roe deer, is quite small.
Loop for adventurers and explorers.

I nicely avoided the northerly wind on the path past the abandoned mine, but it caught me on the saddle below Kopa. I approach the summit from the south side, abandoning the idea of ascent towards Varvanju.
I step onto the top of Kopa just for a photo, then into the shelter, and in the direction of the traverse, which was dry today. The strong wind and snow mists I luckily left above Bela, snow on the Martinj path was only by the chain for the little bridge.
I descend along the markers through the gully to the parking lot.

Today from Slemena towards Govca.
Since it wasn't trodden, the approach to the ridge over the snowdrifts was tiring, and so it was until the junction with the path from Ošovnik, there I stepped on the footprints.
Wind was moderate, at times strong. It took 3 hours to the top, descent in the direction of the approach.

Similar to predecessor, only I start in Beli potok near Frankolovo, to the path I add also visit to Lindek castle.
Conditions milder, snow over Kislica just a sample, below and on Stenica a bit more. Descents were slippery.
Since I was first time today on these hills, impressions came along. Stenica pleasantly surprised me. Due to windthrow panoramic summit breathes with pride of locals, view is really nice. World around Lindek is wonderful!

Very nice foggy waterfalls

This time up the road past the forestry hut, then to the summit past the shepherd hut. Descent to Črnivec on the marked path. Not much snow, deeper only in drifts. The path is trodden and without peculiarities.
