The path is dry, the only problem might be the snowfield at the entry.

In winter it's impossible to get to the parking under Konjščica from Rudno polje direction because there are cross-country ski trails. The ranger is there on purpose and was right. Lp.

If snow like you describe ice axe surely bites and for god's sake don't let go, because such conditions we only wish for. Lp.

Yes many things possible, how safe it is another question. In mountains winter conditions, even if "just" Viševnik.

From the question I conclude you're not exactly experienced hikers (apologies if wrong). I suggest Vogar, Studor, Rudnica, Planina pri Jezeru, Zajamniki, Voje... It's winter in the hills, even if the valley doesn't look like it, and as the predecessor mentioned, winter gear and certain knowledge are mandatory. Nice greetings and good luck.

Well, that's the kind of comments I was afraid of. The via ferrata is very demanding and only the most experienced and well-prepared should tackle it. The via ferrata IS! steep practically all the time and hands suffer a lot. Definitely don't underestimate it!

P.S.: due to the unique anchoring method (how smart and safe they are can be debated) it's wise to have quite a distance between two climbers, otherwise you risk the leader or follower pinching your fingers with the sling against the wall.

I don't understand people who pay 12e to go through the ramp for visiting Vogar and then park 300m further along the road Blato is full whether toll is 5, 12 or 30e. Bohinj is teeming with tourists and hand on heart the whole thing is becoming quite repulsive, not because of parking fees, tolls but because of the indescribable "crowds" and everything it brings.
