Hello,

I'm interested if you have any cool idea for a booklet where one could collect all stamps in one place?

The problem with various booklets like Slovenska planinska pot, Hribovc and similar is that they have space only for a certain number of stamps and maybe one or two pages for additional stamps, that's all. But there are so many local hills and peaks with their own stamps, for which there's no space, and together with hut stamps, plus some across the border in Austria or Italy, you can easily approach 500 stamps or more. nasmeh

How do you others arrange this? Do you make your own booklets (say in Planinski dnevnik with blank pages or just a plain notebook) and then draw spaces for stamps inside or just stamp on blank pages? nasmeh Or do you have any other solutions? velik nasmeh

Regards

When planning hikes, it's good to also check maPZS for any possible path closures to avoid unpleasant surprises on the spot.nasmeh

@2061alessio Ah, shame.. as a kid I always liked best this somewhat more demanding/interesting passage through the secured part.. smile So it will be completely abandoned now?

@turbo: yes, apart from hribi.net and that page of the former Dovje priest, I can't find any other source. But I found an article in Planinski vestnik from the 50s where they mention Šetinov rovt in Vrata! There's also Šetinova rida there.

I don't know where this name "Šetinov rovt" comes from, which apart from hribi.net is practically nowhere else mentioned. I'd say Rovt Vrse is much more commonly used, even the building at the rovt is called "Pr’ Hartman na Vrsah", so it might make more sense to correct it to Vrse in the description.

Has anyone been from Beli Vodi in the last days? Is the path dry?

@zokipoki: they say there really is some parking at MHE, yeah...

Can anyone comment on the trail condition from Raduha to pl. Arte, Snežne jame and down past Račnik? Is there lots of brush on the trail or overgrown/less visible in some sections? Can you follow it nicely?

I'm thinking of a loop Rogovilc - Grohat - Raduha - pl. Arta - Račnik - Rogovilc, but wouldn't want to get stuck with non-existent or poorly traceable trails. nasmeh

Rogovilec - Raduha: or does anyone know where to park now, since at Rogovilec only guests are allowed?

@Majdag: I'd say the "Begunje Matterhorn" is that rocky peak between Mali vrh and Vrh Velikih Gač, not Mali vrh (as Justinova writes in the mentioned article from Gorenjski glas). But not sure. nasmeh It would be nice if some local confirmed.

@PFranci and others: I wrote to the Forestry Institute and expressed concerns about the sign towards Kepa because this road section is not mentioned in the new road regime document. Below I attach the response:

"You are right. The forest road Dovje - Mlinca (G022680) - towards Erjavčev rov was not included in the prepared regimes. There was an error in placing the traffic signage. The sign was placed at the beginning of the mentioned forest road Dovje - Mlinca (G022680), instead of at the branch of the forest road Kladje - Dovška Rožca (G022480). According to information, the error was corrected yesterday and the marking is now arranged in accordance with the adopted regimes."

So obviously the regime really doesn't apply to the road towards Kepa.nasmeh If someone goes by there, please report a bit on the situation on the ground. As I understand, now there should be only one sign at the junction, namely towards Dovška Baba.

@PFranci: Well, nice one! Then they should mark it correctly on the map too?! I don't know what to think...zmeden

Thanks for the note.

@LISAC: well, judging by this picture (confluence below Erjavčev rov marked with arrow), published in the following document, it seems not?

https://obcina.kranjska-gora.si/DownloadFile?id=752616

Namely, it says the regime applies to the forest road (blue on the picture), while the orange one ("important public road") leading to Erjavčev rov is not mentioned??
gamsek128. 01. 2025 09:49:50
@Daaam: yeah, apparently the same applies to the road to Tromeja too...! https://obcina.kranjska-gora.si/DownloadFile?id=752614

https://obcina.kranjska-gora.si/objava/1023429

Well, but according to the above document from my previous post, access to the starting point for Kepa or to Erjavčev rov will at least still be allowed! Strange they didn't include that in the regime too!

If anyone knows more about this, please comment.
gamsek127. 01. 2025 15:28:12
But as I understand from this document, the restriction applies only to the road towards Dovška Baba, not also towards Erjavčev rovt, right??

https://obcina.kranjska-gora.si/DownloadFile?id=752616

Or are there actually two traffic ban signs at this junction, one towards Kepa, the other towards Dovška Baba? On the sketch only one sign is drawn, the blue route also shows closure only towards Dovška Baba...

Does anyone have any info if the path to the Stone Hunter is already completely dry?
gamsek17. 04. 2024 17:01:14
Thanks both for info. Best
