How safe is it to leave the car parked for two days when heading to the Julians? I'll probably start in Bohinj? How about other parking lots in general, many break-ins etc? Maybe someone knows when the first bus leaves from Kranj to Bohinj? Thanks

I'd kindly ask if someone could list (higher) mountains where I can take my dog (retriever) with me, where we can reach the top together? Mainly interested in Kamnik-Savinja Alps, but also other mountains (Julian Alps)! Also curious about dogs staying in mountain huts? Are they usually allowed (I have an obedient, non-aggressive, compliant and trained dog)? Thanks a lot, Anže

Hello,

today my friend and I tackled the wonderful Jalovec. To the summit we went via Jalovška škrbina, back via Kotovo sedlo. I assume that the hike in the opposite direction would be mentally harder, but that is just my subjective opinion. To reach the summit in one day I had to have a lot of concentration on the path itself, physical and mental readiness. Do not forget the great caution needed so as not to dislodge pebbles or rocks on the hikers below. Markings mostly well visible, some missing but rarely. Full praise for the markings and the well-secured path!
Truly mighty and worthy of all respect mountain.

Given known conditions on Kredarica and Triglav, it interests me if it would be safe tomorrow to depart to Triglav and what equipment should there be if we set off? Thanks for answer

Today we were with a cool group on Slivnica. There were five of us, two guys and three girls. You probably noticed us, as we asked a lot of people to take our photos. We met really friendly people! Food in the hut was excellent, big portions and the host was very friendly, I could even bring my dog to the hut, which isn't typical for all huts. Thanks to all the good-hearted people we met on the way and hope to see you again in these beautiful places that really enchanted us a bit!

How many hours does this circular tour take, as I plan to hike it tomorrow?

Today at 11 o'clock at Ljubelj parking (under Zelenica ski slope) I lost Nikon Coolpix camera (with buddy we did Vrtača anyway). In black-green case. Honest finder please call 040/210-440. Thanks, Anže Bertoncelj

And how about dogs in mountain huts? Is it mostly allowed for dogs?

A week ago I was on Grintovec and there was no snow up there! I saw quite a few runners!

This year I was twice at Cojzova hut and must say the lady is very friendly. I always come with my retriever, so Tara (retriever) runs around everywhere, the lady always brings him dog biscuits or gives him some dried bone. Crazy friendly lady!!!

Heinz, I also went about a month ago through the "gully" to Storžič and it was very muddy. There was still some small snow then, probably better now, less mud?

If signatures are being collected, I'm definitely in! I haven't been to Triglav yet, but I want to see (touch) the original Aljaž Tower, not some new tin sheet!
