I also already ordered and got it normally. There were some complications, but only because I don't speak good German and they don't speak good English, so there was a small misunderstanding.

Basically good and quality pants from Milo and Warmpeace brands in Kibuba store.

Pieces of clothing I'm very satisfied with:
- Lorpen and Salomon socks
- Karibu Eskim pants (now among last pieces quite affordable)
- boiled wool (in Promontana for good 20 euros)
- Warmpeace Powerstretch hat and underhat (Kibuba)
- Karibu underwear - from shirts to long johns (bought last year on sale)
- Sensor Doubleface long sleeve shirt (Kibuba)
- Karibu softshell strap
- wool gloves from grandma
- Lowe Alpine Triple Point windbreaker (when no money for Gore-Tex). At beginning held lots of rain, need to impregnate again. Have it about 5 years, then less than 20000 sit - last pieces.
- Trangoworld Nepal Gore-Tex windbreaker - super in winter conditions, in heavy rain not tested yet (bought before new year on sale for 180 eur),
- softshell fleece Salewa - at beginning super, now calls for reimpregnation (year before last, Hervis 100 eur).

All who have them praise Milo pants - Kibuba. Plus usually half price of Karibu pants.

If you buy on sales and browse a bit among last pieces, you can get through much cheaper - still not exactly cheap. But over years you collect all you need (basically more than you need).

Miha

@capin and šerpa: my current shoes are Millet Bouthan GTX. The shoe wears nicely, never blistered me and I'm very satisfied with that. In winter they don't make me cold, in summer they're not hot. But I expected much more durability. Bought them in August 2008 and already in poor condition. Leather cracks (though I sprayed them regularly, due to GTX membrane greases don't come into play), rubber protecting leather above sole is peeling (not big issue), sole is quite worn. I've been in mountains relatively a lot.

Very similar and highly praised shoe is Scarpin Ladakh. I think price is close. Garmont also has a similar model with grooves for semi-auto crampons, but thinner leather.

If buying again, probably get shoe with slots for auto crampons for winter and lighter for summer. For easier hikes where you don't walk more than 2 hours with crampons, they are fine.

Two friends use them as summer boots and praise them highly. For winter I don't know - probably warm due to thick leather, but no slots for crampons.

Best,
Miha

With Guide you can have the bottom connected or separated from the top and it zips up similarly to yours.

Recently I bought the Vaude backpack Tec Rock 32 (Link). So far I'm satisfied with it, but I admit that Deuter is much more comfortable to carry.

@Mate07: the sign only warns about driving at your own risk.

Deuter backpacks are quality, but also very heavy. I have an older Guide 45+ that weighs almost 3 kg.

@spetovar: no problems closing the bottom part. Anyway it's much easier to organize stuff if you don't separate the bottom.

Miha

Very little. But in some places a bit slippery, but still doable without crampons.

With a colleague we did the tour on Saturday and continued the path further to Mali Draški vrh and Viševnik and descended to Rudno polje where we had another car. In the morning the path between Debela peč and Mrežce wasn't trampled yet. Likewise we trampled from Mrežce to the path that goes from Blejska koča to Srenjski preval. For all together we used about 9 hours. Otherwise wonderful day that ended with sunset on Viševnik.

Miha
