I'm deciding between Adidas from Gore-Tex or leather. Leather ones are much cheaper.
But these are low hiking shoes. I would use them more for everyday use. For the mountains I have Planika leather gojzarje, with which I'm very satisfied.

Do you have any experiences, opinions?

Thanks!
Regards

@zdomec
My girlfriend bought gojzarje at Sports Direct (BTC hall A) for 35€. They look well made. She wore them for the first time and we went for 4h into the hills. No blisters and thrilled. She has a size a bit larger than yours. But the box says kids model, so they should have smaller ones too.

Hehe, we were also there on 2. 8. on Triglavnasmeh)
Up we went via Plemenice, next day down via Tominšek's. I don't recommend that route exactly for descent.

For weather look herenasmeh

@andrejp
I also would like to head tomorrow to kamniške or to kamniško sedlo via this path http://pest.si/sto

Given it's rained quite a bit now, is it safe to go? Will rocks dry somewhat?

Does the path to the quarry really close occasionally?
Once I parked there right under the quarry and was the whole way a bit in fear that you would barricade me innasmeh

Some pics from today.

Path is well trodden and because of that slippery in a few places. Crampons not needed. Even without gaiters it went fine.
Weather nice, right at summit very many Croats, by car numbers most came with them. Hut at Gospodična open and I recommend a visit and as an example to many town inns.

In attachment also GPS track up there from Gabrje in GPX format.

@alfaromeo155
two possibilities:
- whole jacket bad materials no breath (mc kinley not top gear)
or
- overdress and sweat consequently.
Unwritten rule dress like onion, layers. Then strip or add per conditions.

I once went with someone to hills dressed like -15, after 15min sweat down back couldn't strip cos would freeze and catch cold. Then suffered to top. Others stripped added arrived almost dry.

Dress thinner layers, when warm remove layer, if cold add.
Or bad luck you just sweat full.

Me bothered when lightly dressed every breeze through, so now always thin windstopper and won't go without.

@alfaromeo155
if you're thinking of a windbreaker like we used to have - painted plastic, then it's logical you'll sweat fullmežikanje
As those before me said it's normal and even healthy to sweat. If you don't want to, dress lighter and keep a slower pacejezik

I now in winter down to -6 (haven't got colder yet) hike dressed like this:
- adidas technical base layer long sleeve
- 100% cotton very thin long sleeve pullover
- 100% cotton hoodie
- some adidas half windstopper, that's also very thin.
Up the hill it's just right for me, cos I have slower pace because of my dear. At my pace it'd surely be hot.
If really cold then on descent I add another jacket.
Wool gloves are mandatory for memrk pogled

Haven't needed long johns to -6 yet, pants are all-season.

Where can you still buy pumparicevelik nasmehcool

@slavčy

Hey, what's the path to the top like? Crampons needed?
Would like to go next weekend (30.1).
Fusion26. 01. 2010 00:20:21
My first winter hike and after cca 15 years back on Kum.
Was fine. Weather calm and very foggy at top. Snow hardly sank so no gaiters needed. Icy nowhere.
