Today I was at the summit from the Planika side. Mostly dry to Mali Triglav, along the ridge you can avoid snow. The last two steep sections before the summit are more demanding, because the snow is packed and slippery. Otherwise there are fixed ropes, so I recommend caution and use of self-belay kit...

Hello! Has anyone been to Planina Blato recently? I'm interested in how the road to the pasture is?

Yesterday (10.7.2020) I was on Triglav via Plemenice. Snowfields under Zaplanja aren't steep, the others under Škrbina can be bypassed. Descended via Prag.

Hello! On Friday I was on Triglav via Tominšek route. Just warning about snow patch at ca. 2000 m, caution needed (ice axe uphill welcome, crampons downhill too). Otherwise possible without gear, but steep and don't recommend slip there. Otherwise from junction to Staničev dom onwards snow, all way to climbing start under M. Triglav.

Today I was on Raduha with skis from Radušnik. On the summit I met three more, also with touring skis. By 8am already quite south-exposed. Lots of snow.

Today I was on Kuk's Peak via Gulce saddle from Vrata. Road to start is icy, especially careful on slopes... From hunter's path snow starts. Uphill ok without crampons for a while, but recommended as icy. From saddle to top without crampons, mostly bare, but some snowy sections. Weather bomb today, just cold wind on top.

Dejan, I wish you a quick return to the mountains...

I believe redbull... But elevation meters will still be useful this winter anyway, which counts for something, which was also the main goal of this tourvelik nasmeh

Primož, I don't understand what I should learn from this.

I just wanted to report the path conditions. The weather forecast for the weekend was totally off.

On Saturday 15.11.2014 we didn't quite pick the right tour to Grintovec. We started at 6:30 in light snowfall that persisted the whole tour. At the saddle wind joined the snowfall, fog became denser with altitude. At about 2400 m the combination of snowfall and low temperatures made the path icy. On the summit section there was some light snow. Due to the wind we returned quickly, almost without stopping, soaked and chilled to the car.

Hello. What are the conditions like under Špik and in the surroundings? Can one still ski? Regards, D.

Hello. All week I followed the weather forecast, which was favorable for Thursday (cold at night) and I wasn't wrong, just underestimated the wind strength a bit, which in the end spoiled plans for the dash to the summit (quite strong gusts)jezen. Yesterday conditions were super for hikers too (I was on skis though). Still starting from Kurje vasi, just the road is getting more bare (but it'll stay unplowed quite a while longer, unless they plow it sooner). LP, D.

Yesterday (30.3.), my colleague and I were at Kredarica, him on foot, me on skis. We started at 3 a.m. Soon, at the height of the first avalanche areas, my colleague had to put on crampons, it was hard in the morning and he didn't remove them to the top, though not needed on parts (probably simple strap-on crampons great). On descent from Kredarica (~10 a.m.) sinking a lot except last part holds well. Skiing best ever - practically from Kredarica to car bomb velik nasmeh
