What are the current conditions on the path from Savica to the hut below Bogatin?

On Saturday, 3.2., the path was very icy, approx. 20% of the path is bare, microspikes are, in my humble opinion, necessary.
Weather was super! The sun managed to break through the clouds here and there. Still a wonderful day.
Staff at the "hotel" very friendly!!

Is it mandatory to hire local guides for via ferratas around Lake Garda?

On Friday with wife climbed all three ferratas, BB, Nos and Zimska roža, which with ascents and descents are all worthy of respect.
BB is officially (still) closed due to pulled out peg, but the section can be bypassed, and nothing suggests it will change anytime soon. Obviously ferratas not maintained properly, as shown by the state of the cable on one of the more difficult descents.

Are big (12 teeth) crampons needed or are small (4 teeth) enough?

How is it with parking possibility at Kovinarska hut on Saturdays?

Today with two sons on extremely windy summit. Around us ice, below sea of fog from which Šmarna gora and Grmada peeked. Views on Julijce, Karavanke and Kamniške phenomenal.
Hut staff extremely friendly!
On return to Prtovč sea of tin.
