On Saturday we headed to Nockberge National Park and also to visit the most popular peak Klomnock. We ascended to it from the Schiestlscharte station at 2024m with the beautiful mountain hut Glockenhütte, where they are real artists in carving. The path to Klomnock, whose summit measures 2331m, offers a nice ascent and wonderful views far around. The entire high alpine road Nockalmstrasse with its rest areas offers true relaxation and fills the soul. It was beautiful.nasmeh

This time we went organized by bus to the Dolomites. Our final goal was Rifugio Nuvolau at 2575 m. We set off through the Karawanks Tunnel and via Austria to Italy, through the idyllic tourist town of Cortina d'Ampezzo towards the Giau pass, which lies at 2233 m. Past the Rifugio Passo Giau hut, we headed towards the Averau hut and then from there further to the Nuvolau hut. There were lots of people, although we met few on the path, but both huts were also reached by chairlift or gondola. The path itself was not demanding, only on the part that started quite steeply ascending, it was crumbly and required a bit more attention.
However, the path itself as well as the summit offered magnificent views. A day you wish would never end.nasmeh

We used today's sunny day to visit Porezen. This time from Petrovo Brdo direction. At the start of the path there's quite some fallen trees but they don't hinder passage. Today we were too early as we made the first track ourselves. With snowshoes the path is much easier of course, since without them it sinks deeplyeek. But enough grit got us to the top. On the ridge snow is quite windblown so icy in places but still the path can be done without crampons. Warm sun heated nicely today but cold wind on top made us hurry back to the hut which diligent caretakers had just openedvelik nasmeh. They really gave us great shelter from wind and thanks for hospitality. Great daynasmeh

@Irina, I don't intend to explain anything, least of all am I the one who will forbid someone to do things that seem nonsensical to me. The dog has its owner and is not the property of the whole team that was on top yesterday.

On Saturday our group also did the ascent to Triglav. Despite the conditions actually already being wintery, we still met a lot of hikers heading to the Triglav summit without helmets, some even in sneakers, let alone any winter gearmrk pogled. The path can be traversed without crampons, but with a lot of caution. We ascended to the summit from the Planika side, which is dry all the way to Mali Triglav, the path to the summit still partly frozen, later the snow melts due to the sun.. so a bit of everything. But Saturday was something wonderful, sky without a cloud, views fantastic in one word. nasmeh

Yesterday we finally did the long-planned tour to Zelenjak and Palec. We started in the sun at Ljubelj, which warmed us to the Zelenica hut. Then the path to Vrtača. The branch to Zelenjak and Palec is marked by a small cairn. nasmehThough pathless to the peaks, the trail is so well worn there's no worry of getting lost. Dew made the path wet, mists rising to summits so peaks mostly foggy. The scree to Zelenjak is cut, path very good. But joyfully sun on top. Down to the col from Zelenjak then traceable path to Palec. Gentian bunches along the way. Stamp at Palec top on chain but lower part gone, get it at Zelenica hut. Sun warmed us on Palec too despite fog around. Back to Zelenica upper path over screes, quickly at hut. Fog cleared, admired peaks in sun for goodbye. Wonderful day.

We used a wonderful Sunday with my friend to visit Prisojnik. Ascent via grebenska and descent via Slovenska. Since it was my first visit, I really liked the grebenska path, especially because it offers lots of beautiful views and a walk through the edelweiss meadow. Really, that part of the path is a true botanical garden. Quite a few visitors that day too, but the summit is big enough for all.. nasmeh
At the summit, natural air conditioning in the form of north wind cheered us, so we cooled off properly, above all we long enjoyed the views far around.
It was beautiful, and I'll surely visit it again.nasmeh

Sunday was inviting us to the mountains. But for Sunday we'll choose something shorter, so we decide to head to Begunjščica, but this time on an unknown path. Start at Ljubelj, to Zelenica and from there to the summit. The weather offered us wonderful views today and the path to the top passed quickly. The summit was quite crowded in pleasant sun, cooled by a light breeze. We descend to Roblekov dom, where we take a slightly longer break, then to Preval pasture and back to Ljubelj via Bornova pot. Wonderful tour in nice weather and a nice end to the week.

Since snow messed us up last year and we had to postpone the climbing route to Rjavina, Sunday was finally D-day. Early in the morning we head from Kote to Rjavina. The sun was already pleasantly warming in the morning, but wind was cooling us along the path, blowing quite strongly. At the thick stone we take a short break, somewhat fill our tummies for energy into the wall, and soon our hats and poles are replaced by helmet and belay kit. And we are already under the wall, into which I step with great respect for this mighty mountain. It went well for us both with hands and feet... despite the sun already scorching intensely, I didn't know whether I was hot from the sun or from adrenaline.. velik nasmeh
After successfully climbed first part, we walk past two natural windows.. one offers view only into the depth, through the other wonderful view on Škrlatica. Views from the path were already magnificent. Still awaits descent on pitons and a little walk across the ridge and we are at the summit. Right measure of joy and happiness, views from the summit caress the soul. We returned along the ridge towards Staničeva hut, but didn't go to the hut, turned back to the valley before. Later this proved a very good decision, as the sun was mercilessly scorching, wind disappeared somewhere unknown..., probably meanwhile someone closed the windows... zavijanje z očmivelik nasmeh. The path to the valley dragged on so much, no end in sight... but since everything ends once, our wonderful path also ended at Aljaž with cold and deserved beer... velik nasmeh
