Hello mountain lover
If they already posted on FB the day before, I don't know why the post here would bother them.
Or does it bother you?
best regards

On Thursday afternoon despite the bad weather forecast we head to Triglav to admire the sunset nasmeh
A bit before 4 pm we start the hike, no rain but fog and swollen stream blocking access to Tominšek's path. No choice but to take off shoes and wade through pleasantly warm waterjezik. Not much time for rest and admiring so we go most of the path as fast as possible. After two and a half hours we reach Kredarica, don't stop but quickly continue as fog starts lifting and we hope for some sunset luck.
Already on Mali Triglav we see nothing will come of it, hurricane wind appears moving us around, immediately thick fog envelops us, temp just below freezing and without gloves it'd be bad. On Triglav just a few pics, wind too strong for anything else but quick back to Kredarica.
Headlamps on and fast down, light rain starts so no stops, quick via Preg to the car. Godfather moon appears lighting the path and soon at start. Wonderful afternoon with good company, what more to wish.

Super weather convinced us too to head to the top of Slovenia. We start at Planina Blato via Krstenica and Planina Jezerce towards Vodnikov dom.
Below the dom we stop at the sirarna and treat ourselves to a cup of sour milk, because we had settled down. We skip Vodnikov dom and continue towards Tržaški dom at Dolič, where comfy beds awaited us.
Before dawn we head to the summit. When we arrive at the škrbina and the view of the entire Triglav ridge opens up to us, we almost laughed, as endless masses of hikers were pouring from all sides. On the top we barely find an empty spot to quickly snack, take some pics and hurry on towards Planika. Due to constant waiting the descent dragged on a lot, because of that and strong sun we change original plans and continue past Vodnikov dom, Mišeljski preval to Planina v Lazu, from there we still stroll to Koča pri Jezeru, where we take the last rest before the end of our path. The day ended too quickly, but wonderful memories remained from this end of Julijske Alpe.

Despite the worse weather forecast we set off from the gate on Tuesday afternoon via Tominškova.
Shortly after starting the hike the forecasts came true and it started raining, but to all our surprise after a good 5 minutes it stopped and the sun appeared from behind the clouds nasmeh.
Since the rain no longer urged us we leisurely arrived at Kredarica around 8 pm. Few people and most of those few were foreigners. We got up just before 6 am and filled our stomachs, and just before 7 we started the ascent, the sun was already showing and the summit was nicely visible. But unfortunately the higher we went the higher the fog rose too, which we just couldn't escape. When we arrived at the summit we were wrapped in thick fog, cold wind lowered the already low temperature so we couldn't stay more than half an hour.
Three were on the očak for the first time so we teased them a bit and after a few photos went through the notch towards Planika. As soon as we reached Planika and looked up the sun showed again and Aljažev tower bathed in sun rays. What can you do, luck is fickle, after a short snack we headed back to Kredarica and through the prag to the valley. Trip excellent and unforgettable, if we'd had sunshine on the top too it would have been kitschy velik nasmeh

Well done, I admit that I didn't feel like going anywhere in such weather, keep going like that smile

Today via Tominšek to Kredarica and on to Triglav, lots of people for midweek. Weather except annoying wind and some clouds quite OK, no big views today though, but Triglav always something special. Return over Prag where sun already baking hard. Path itself no issues, so just one foot in front of the other while weather serves nasmeh

Today was family trip to Menina. Start from Tuhinj side, car left behind Motnik settlement and joined small hikers from Ptuj who came by bus.
Since we knew some of them we slowly went together towards Biba pasture, meanwhile a little rain washed us but it wasn't bad. Kids walked diligently all in turn, in between we found some snow for snowballing and kids couldn't part from it. After several stops we reached the hut on Menina, where we enjoyed excellent tea and warm stove. Trip despite bad weather forecast was excellent, big and small kids enjoyed 100 percent velik nasmeh

Today from Krma to Triglav, road without chains almost impassable. For the start of the path you'd almost need fishing boots, since everything is under water, further on it's quite icy so crampons to Kredarica are quite recommended. At Kredarica wind blowing between 90 and 120 km/h, with gusts up to 170 km/h. To Mali Triglav quite south-facing, crampons have no grip, for ice axe too little snow, later no more problems. Return on pure south snow sinks up to your ass nasmeh, down below everything under water like that nasmeh.
Safe hiking to all
