Yesterday over Škarjev rob up and back via SE gully past Poljana - starting point Dom pod Storžičem. Path without special features, but descent via SE gully quite unpleasant at certain spots, as path already almost invisible somewhere...

This time Ojstrica from KB via Presedljaj to Korošica and then further to Molička Planina and then via Mala Ojstrica and Ojstrica back via Planjava to KŠ and return to KB. The path is really well marked with directional signs and markings. More at...

Lubadar..o, thanks for the idea, otherwise this would then be quite a nice day trip... where is this Nidrarska grapa, I need to check it out a bit... what exactly in this direction?

Starting point today for Ratitovec is Podrošt - probably quite a non-standard choice, but worth it; on the way back I also bought fresh homemade bread sold by the homestead by the road. Quite sparsely populated up to Ravn or to the Povden saddle. I recommend the mentioned route if you have some more time

The path from Zadnjica towards Kriški podi and then further towards Razor is nicely followable; in the last part one needs to be careful as there is quite a lot of loose stones...but a nice tour...

Went a couple of days ago from Zadnjica over Kriške pode and a quick first to Razor and back, then from the pods along the marked path towards Dovška vrata and then to Gamsovec and descent to Luknja and onwards towards the starting point in Zadnjica. More here: link

Then you can get to Zadnjica without a problem? I'm going up early tomorrow, so there won't be unnecessary panic 🙃

How exactly will the regime then affect e.g. parking in Zadnjica, or the starting point Flori or at the source of the Soča?

On Saturday a quick trip to Ciprnik through the Pišnica valley to the hunting hut. Then it gets a bit more tricky on snow and steep slope searching for the hunting path under the snow. In winter I don't recommend this variant, but rather the classic way past Mojčing homestead on Vitranc.

From Ajdovščina over Pale along the educational trail to the Hublje spring, then classically to Otliško okno (before that to the stone snail or Stone spiral) and further along the ridge over Navrše, but only to the left junction for Sinji vrh. Then further across the meadow to the main road, where we go about a km parallel to the road, leave it and continue over Pirjevše to Kovk. Then return along the ridge over Sončnica (where there is a paragliding site) and Kraguljc and Podrta gora, then Pravi vrh and Črne stene, and we reach the crossroads where we previously turned towards Sinji vrh. This time we go left towards Ajdovščina. Along the way there is also a nice viewpoint Stara baba, and lower down Peskarca.

Ski touring on Kanin still doesn't disappoint. Start at Sella Nevea parking lot and then along the ski slope to Gilbertij (plan to be at Gilbertij by the ski area opening), otherwise the lift operators might complain. For ascent snowcats are an option, since on some of the steepest parts of the ski slope it's otherwise quite a bitch
From Gilbertij a short descent, then along the prepared track to the saddle and then on the groomed section to Prevala. From there descent to our side, all the way to C station, then return and enjoying the sun at the closed Ski Bumbar - three loungers available. Otherwise snow on our side is super (from D station), it glides really nicely all the way to C station, otherwise snow over the weekend on our side was apparently down to cca 1,400m/1,500m

Some went to the window, others descended via Krnica, in short plenty to choose from.

Nice area for ski touring. Starting point Sella Nevea, then up the road towards Rif. Brazza and further under the cliffs of Špik Hude police.... More at: link

Conditions super, plenty of snow, and really above Pecol there are huge slopes where you can ski nicely.
