Darinka and Polona, not only snakes, caterpillars are also dangerous for dogs. They eat away the snout, tongue, if the dog touches them, really bad and dangerous

Where there are, we're not there, at least not during the time they have their processions  Regarding caterpillars I'm really careful, regarding snakes too, although you can meet them almost everywhere in the hills. If I think about it, with dogs I've only encountered a viper once and a cobra once, and the encounters ended happily or the dogs avoided the snake (that was before Blue  )
