Ornitolog, this could be the pygmy owl, right?

This is also a ring ouzel (mountain blackbird), female. It has less contrasting colors than the male. I'm attaching a photo of a rarely seen and mysterious bird of Slovenian forests, the black stork. In Slovenia, 40-60 pairs nest. Do you know it? best regards

May was the last entry here. Today early in the morning I saw four storks flying over my home village Predoslje near Kranj. You could clearly see it was three young ones and one parent. One young one was missing feathers on one wing - I don't know if it will make it to Africa in the fall. The nest on the chimney of the elementary school in Predoslje was filmed with a drone and they found out there are three chicks in the nest. Looks like they all survived.

Majda, it looks to me like a hawfinch, as it has a slightly reddish breast, which is not the case with greenfinches. Let some other expert tell what you encountered. Friendly greetings.

hello, I often go into nature and noticed that birds sometimes call very loudly, sometimes it's almost silence in the forest, is this weather-related?

Hi, @ločanka, in the photos there is a young lesser spotted woodpecker. @gorolazka, it's a green woodpecker, specifically a young bird, most likely a female.

Yesterday, an encounter with a ptarmigan right below the summit of Viševnik. The gentleman who was at the top at the same time said that she is always there and sees her every time he goes up. Interesting, despite multiple visits to winter Viševnik I saw her at this location for the first time...
