A pair of storks from Predoslje near Kranj (neighbors of Brda Castle) have a new home. For many years the storks had a nest on the chimney of Predoslje primary school. Last year all three chicks died due to mud in the nest. Now there is a new nest in the middle of the village on top of a street light pole.

Oh, thanks . I'm really glad it's solved. Aha, aren't you sure? I photographed it under Površnica, near Dražgoše. Height there around 700 m. It was very small.

I don't know which other it could be, ornithologist please give opinion.
On the first photo is collared flycatcher, which just returned from Africa.
On the next ones a pair of three-toed woodpeckers.

Both "house nests" of great tits are under the roof so rain doesn't harm them. Nuthatch is secondary cavity nester that likes to occupy nestbox too.

I don't get what's happening with swallows. This year they started weaving a nest in the barn. Only half. They've been working on it for some month but haven't finished it.
