Congrats, ''koma''. Yesterday repeated that crossing, from Jasna along closed hunter path (with quite a few detours) right slope of Mala Pišnica past hunter hut to Grlo, then ridge to Ciprnik with one 20m abseil specifically at a different spot than yours in pic. Last part ascent to Visoka peč nicer and safer right along ridge not that crumbly gully in your pic. But tour requires experienced mountaineer with tons of energy.

We've spoken quite a few words about the ascent to Ciprnik from Grlo in recent years and made many plans. Now the tour is recorded in history.
Suitable for mountaineers who don't mind the green sea and searching for passages. Some technical knowledge is also needed.

I would praise Koma and Janez Seliškar with his companions. Nice description of the solitary path, one gets the feeling as if he was right there. Koma, it looks like you walked alone, so in this case special praise.

The topic should be named Ridge traverse Grlo - Suhi vrh – Visoka peč - Ciprnik, which has nothing to do with ascents to Ciprnik from Planica and from Jasna in Kranjska Gora. Why, I have already written on this portal.
A bit more detailed description of the traverse direction in pictures and comments on the link below.

Congratulations @Jovan&Janez to you too, especially to the companion, your route through Mala Pišnica even nicer pathless spiced, I had that in mind too but there were already too many unknowns for me..maybe on repetition in the future!..@Jovan that gully just pulled me into it although it's not as scary as it looks from above down, but probably the ridge on the right is nicer.

The path from Planica to Ciprnik-Vitranc, which until recently was full of fallen trees, is now cleared and nicely passable. Soon a tourist bus will run to Planica and it will be possible to make a nice circular tour along the ridge to Jasna.

Now that the whole Planica is a construction site and everything is fenced with orange fences, it's quite an art to find the start of the path to Ciprnik. Well, the employees at CŠOD quickly figured out what the two lost souls with backpacks were looking for and showed a hole in the fencenasmeh
The path to Ciprnik is not officially marked on this section, but nicely traceable, there are also signs indicating the right direction. That cabin for cameramen offers really excellent views of the ski jumps and today they even had training.
Soon the marked path from Planica joins, which I think is now really closed, as no mark or arrow directs to this path anymore.
Higher up, when the path from the ridge turns into the forest, it suddenly disappears. Well, seems not masses of people walk here, and lots of fresh fallen leaves do their part, so some imagination needed to find the path. But there's another option, just follow the marksnasmeh After a couple of 100m the path becomes more visible again and from there to the top no special features. Oh, towards the top there's also a little snow, but really just a sample.
But today the weather was more friendly than yesterday, so I got the feeling that we actually spent more time lying in the sun than walking.

Today we were on Ciprnik for the first time. We started at Jasna along the ridge, past Mojčina koča, which is open this weekend but then closed until mid-May. Path without features. Ciprnik offers really unique views. We returned directly under the cable car to Bedančeva koča, from there by sled track to Kranjska Gora.

Saturday was perfect for a tour from Dom Planica along the beautiful and very scenic hunter's path, on the top enjoying the sun and new acquaintances nasmeh. The path is partly in frozen snow, especially the summit part, so maybe small crampons won't be superfluous for some.

In the morning I drove to Planica and visited Ciprnik, which did not disappoint. The weather was wonderful, after the last snowfall and due to the untracked snow I was the first on the summit. There's not much snow, but just right for winter atmosphere.

Today's Planica ski festival was the reason for my third visit to this 1746m high viewpoint. Last year I combined it with Jalovec, this year after some years again with Ciprnik. In the morning I was a bit sorry because I left home late, as I ran into a 3km-long traffic jam before Hrušica. I started from one of the many ski areas and panted to the top when the competition was already in full swing. There's a huge amount of snow, but in four days my like-minded folks have trodden the track quite well. Let me mention that I haven't experienced such pleasure on a sunny windless hill for a long time. I descended freely via Prešeren through deep snow down the Velika dolina gully, which ends above the top of the westernmost Podkoren cable car. To the few photos which aren't the best due to strong sun, I'm adding a snapshot from festive Planica. Bravo, Peter!

Has anyone maybe found on Ciprnik some phone holder or stand. It's a pretty primitive one. I was up there Friday and it looks like I forgot it.
