I'll be a bit mean. I'm no Slavist and I know that after a period and comma there's always a space following. But I'm also curious: what does it look like when a necessary coffee awaits you at the end?

Slamca, you're not mean if you point out mistakes; although here such a remark can be quickly misunderstood. You won't be mad if I correct you a bit, right? Not 'you're no Slavist', but 'you're no Slovenist', because Slavistics is dedicated to studying Slavic languages.

Palček plezalček, thanks. Why would I be angry. Criticism or addition as you say is always welcome for me. From it you can learn something, accept that others know more and better than you and in the end you're grateful to them for corrections and new knowledge. Super.

I don't care how it looks, it looks fine, necessary coffee waiting at the end In @katty's post you feel the desire for the still unknown hill waiting to be realized, reading about the events during the tour is like watching a movie, in between some personal reflections and at the end, even before the end (of the tour), already looking ahead to new mountains and paths . . . Great!

I agree with you palček plezalček and turbo, the essence is to notice in the message her reliving the whole tour, observing the awakening nature and of course huge joy for the mountains. Unfortunately people often notice only spelling mistakes and similar nonsense... now I'm going for that "necessary" coffee too

One question: is my opinion correct that from Planica you actually see Visoka peč, and to the left is Ciprnik?

It will hold, Ciprnik is visible too but Visoka peč stands out more because it's the last in the ridge.

stankoju, I see we met at Mojca's hut. We two probably overtook you on the path. From there we went towards Ciprnik, but not to the summit, but descended to Planica via the hunter's path. That path was even harder in the upper part than along the ridge. Just narrow track, actually footsteps, sometimes almost ass-deep and without crampons it would be quite dangerous. Lower down nice though.

Today at Ciprnik from Planica via hunter's path. The path is dry, only the last 200-250m still snowy, so recommended to put at least small 12-tooth crampons in the backpack. Towards Visoka peč someone has already walked, but the path is entirely under snow.

Janez.novak A bit confused about crampons, small 12 teeth?? Probably you meant some chains? Best!

jprim - I mean micro-crampons like Veriga, which have small teeth connected with chains and pulled over the boot with rubber.

Has anyone recently gone to Ciprnik from Lake Jasna? What are the conditions, especially how much and where does the snow start? Is it icy?

Hello! With my girlfriend heading next weekend to Kranjska Gora and would like to watch ski flying "maybe from some hill". What do you think would Ciprnik be ok?.. and maybe someone knows from which direction the track is maybe already made?*Also to avoid (maybe a bit) the crowds in Kranjska Gora next weekend? DO YOU RECOMMEND MAYBE ANOTHER HILL SO THAT ON THE WAY THERE IS VIEW OF CROWD OF PEOPLE AT THE FLIGHTS? Thank you very much, mountaineer's greeting, Grego.

From Ciprnik fantastic view of the ski jump. I watched the event from there several times (scroll back a bit). With favorable wind you hear the official announcer well. So far there has always been a track already made, except if going Thursday early...
