Lidija, I don't know where you saw this about cracks, but if it were true, they would withdraw all those Olympuses from sale.
Zebdi, everyone praises their own horse or however it's said , folk buys Canons and Nikons because they are the most commercialized.

That Canon performs excellently at night. In my lay opinion it can compete even with two or three times more expensive devices.

I wasn't kidding you, I was looking where they have service, because if I'm not mistaken they have to send it out (at least I waited three weeks for mine), and this showed up for me and it seemed it could be useful for you.
Otherwise, I started two years ago with an Olympus for 90€, after half a year figured out what I miss, bought a slightly better compact, now I'm on a DSLR, and I'm still at the beginning of learning photography. Despite knowing a hundred times more than before. Now I finally know what I even want....

What did you load for me? I'm asking if Canon SX240 also performs at night? On Mimovrste they most recommend Sony Cybershot DSC-HX20B to me.

Hah, good that folk actually don't know that Panasonics are top. Now they shoot in ignorance with Nikons, Canons, and Mamiyas, Hasselblads...for which they pay quite a few average Slovenian wages...

Well yeah, if there are sunsets like this one on the link you attached and night photos like Prepolčeva's, then I'm 100% sure I won't be disappointed. I sincerely hope I won't get burned unintentionally again.

I compared specs of SX240 and SX260, the only difference is that SX260 is 35 euros more expensive than 240 and 7 grams heavier than 240. Don't know what's the point.
