We climbed Donačka on the 13th - in the afternoon, I expected to meet some locals.
We prefer to go from the church of St. Jurij. Also on Saturday it was blowing like hell....
It was good to stretch the bones.
We reached the summit still in short sleeves, we were so hot from the speed ...:

In the afternoon a bit of sun shows through the fog and I immediately decide to go to Donačka hoping for clear skies there too, but I was disappointed the upper part was in thick fog. When I arrived at the starting point in Kupčinji vrh, the four-legged mountain guide on Donačka "Čarli" was already waiting for me, company guaranteed and we head to the top, the path is quite muddy, hope snow falls soon to avoid the mud.

Early in the morning I plunged into the first proper snow from Žetal towards the top. In some places it was over the knees, otherwise the path from the Vrhe pass to the top is trodden and next time I'll need small crampons in the backpack. You could feel in the air that there would be another round of white today.Lp. Lajči
