Saturday afternoon from Poldov rov to bivouac II. Yesterday ridge traverse Dovški križ-Škrnatarica. Descent to Gulce saddle, ascent to Kukova špica then descent towards Črlovec and via PP back to start. Path to bivouac dry (bit of snow under bivouac, no issue). Lakes still have some snow. No winter gear needed for Dovški križ, nor for ridge traverse to Škrnatarica. Winter gear needed for descent to Gulce saddle, huge snow in the gully still. Rest no problem.

Yesterday with Jovan on first joint tour this year. Plan was different but weather turned it all.
Started via scenic Brinova glava and above turned to Kopic ridge. All the time enjoyed views over Vrata valley and fully scrambling on not great (crumbly) rock.
Near the end of ridge did one more rope descent and finished the ridge at Dovški Cross.
Since the day was still long continued tour to Škrnatarica summit and descended via Tičarica to PP path and valley.
After 9.5 hours finished at car.
Day for the soul!

You look aside briefly, and he's already fooling around.

View back at the jagged pillar where the rope descent was.

Approach gully to Škrnatarica still snowy.

Passage to Med valley between avalanches.

He did that stage of the PP trail yesterday.

Yes, Drago, that Friday was really awesome. Thanks for the eleventh pic. The others are nice too. I didn't take even the camera on the Saturday tour to Korošica due to "afternoon storms", so I posted only a short text on the forum.

Yesterday 19.7 from plodov rovta to bivouac II on Šplevta and on to Dovški Cross! Nice views from top. We descended same path back but via nice scree nasmeh

In the evening we arrived in the dark at Bivak 2. The first part of the night half the Moon shone, after midnight only stars and sadly lights from the valley.
In the morning we did a walk to Dovški Cross, which wasn't wintry at all yet.
