Actually it would be correct "Below Dovški Cross or Šplevta"
Yesterday 3.8. from Poldov rovta up towards bivak II, at hunting trail right and then to cirque Na Brinju to approx 2100m below Šplevta. Nice, solitary world.

Here, first time at Dovški Cross. Up to bivak, down over Brinje. Nice, beautiful, just the starting point was a bit hard to find. And the path over Brinje for down (first time) I don't recommend. Upper part few cairns, mostly no trail. Had to use quite some navigation to get down nicely. Great!

Also brother Vinko yesterday enjoyed Julian Alps climbing his last Slovenian 2000er. Told him once is never, must repeat all.

Bivak in good condition. Blankets, pillows, mats.

Hello, Juš.
It is secured with four steel cables (I think it was like that before too), but poorly protected - the NE flank seemed very rickety to me.
Has anything new happened with the bivouac at Kočna? In 2012 they fitted new external sheeting after the old one was blown away...

Sounds unusual, but the day started with a lunar eclipse. Then from Poldov Rovt to the bivouac. Fog swirling on the Dovški Cross summit, so I didn't go up. And some photos.

Mine are transferred directly from the camera, Tomaž's are processed in a program. But that's not the essence, experience, memories are the essence, so just the path under your feet.

I agree, but then don't advertise two-year-old pics under "current conditions". Save memories on the hard disk. Now just the path under your feet, only that way you'll be able to post again under "current conditions"
