Go around over Brinova glava
With snow nothing worse, some is left, but not so much that you wouldn't find dry patches; it will freeze over a clear night.

Up through Brinje, down past the bivouac... no snow anywhere or two steps in a notch a little before the summit (not problematic)... beautiful nature and for these parts quite a few hikers - pleasant new acquaintances

Yesterday first to Kukova špica, then Škrnatarica and finally Dovški Cross. Return past Bivouac at Lakes to the valley.
Notch leading to Škrnatarica snowy and icy (ice axe recommended). No snow elsewhere.

I notice you're always faster, Drago. In most posts first and last pics with headlamp, yours all in sun. Interesting distinct boundary between sunny and shady side, 13th pic shows well. Almost convinces man there's another ridge before Široka peč.
Drago, I envy those pleasures and thanks for sharing with us.

Fast young doing good ascents in these conditions. Tracks everywhere on Martuljek.
True, sun doesn't spare here. Lit me under Brinova glava, warmed whole way almost to car. Last 10 min hid behind mountains. Unlike Logarska, last time longer day even Okrešelj not lit.

Wonderful description of probably the nicest part of the Julian Alps. At picture 9, I wonder if the persons were the only ones yesterday on VO? Today's news of yesterday's event is sad. Seekers of solitude and beauty sometimes pay dearly....

Hi
On Wednesday I met two on the Cross who came to the top via Jugova (on foot without skis)
They said connected snow starts somewhere at height of three larches and conditions that day were bad - snow was rotten. They descended with me to Vrata.
From the top I also saw a skier who didn't enjoy much either.
Otherwise the gully is still icy only exit bare or already dry. (see a bit higher pic.15)
