Hi! Daffodils on Golica will bloom a bit later than usual this year. In Plavški Rovt and Planina pod Golico the greenery is just starting to sprout, here and there some are already in bud. The slopes will probably turn white in 3-4 weeks, on Golica even later. Probably early June nasmeh

Yesterday 20.4. on Winter path to hut almost no need for snow (last gullies below hut), on Summer path patches will still persist. White also on ridge, in between white crocuses mežikanje

Where there is snow in between there are also hollow "flehe" that break through unpleasantly or muddy toboggan. Still secluded and little visited mežikanje

Today to house mountain - Golica. Up winter, down summer. Almost no need to step on snow anymore. Conditions excellent. They say hut opens tomorrow.

In the late afternoon via Mala Golica and Krvavka to the May 1st bonfire at the Golica hut. It blew hard on the ridge so we left the Golica summit for later. On Mala Golica narcissi - if it stays warm - in about a week.

the slope of Krvavka is red from heather

instead of narcissus still the whiteness of anemones

we two are descending into the valley under the full moon

Hello, yesterday I was on Golica, where narcissi are only on lower meadows around Planine village under Golica, above the hut I could count them on the fingers of one hand. But auriculas, alpine bellflowers etc. and lots of beautiful mugo pines.

Today circular tour: S. Križ - Jeseniška planina - Rožca - Klek - Jekelj - Golica - back to Rovte. Nice circular path with wonderful views and lots of flowers. On quite a few sections the path is muddy, lots of hikers. Real rush tomorrow when also Miss Narcissus and run to Španov vrh. Need to hurry, parking problems expected.
