Current conditions on Golica are good (if the mud doesn't bother you). There is only a sample of snow left, but caution is still needed in places. I was on Golica yesterday, 24.3.2011. Hope it's useful to someone... LP

Me too, I went to Golica (23.3.) but had to turn back halfway (home obligations), so didn't reach the hutmrk. It was nice to walk on the path, except mud here and there.

Yesterday I was with a friend on Golica. Up from Planina pod Golico, down through Javorniški Rovt to Jesenice. Great day, southern slopes are already all dry so no problems. Only at the top I warn to be careful walking on snow due to avalanche danger.

Yesterday I used the day for a hike to Golica. Starting from Planina pod Golico. Path well traceable, dry, very few people, since snowdrops not yet in bloom, a bit of snow at the top, views limited due to mists, otherwise beautiful sunny day. Attaching some photos, Borut and Tanja had a good time.

If a Styrian female hiker wanders around Gorenjska for a couple of days in early spring time, she would sin if she didn't "pop" to the top of Golica; today, 25.4., on Easter Monday conditions are of course no different than the predecessor writes, except much worse weather, so upon return I got a little wet refreshment; great trip that would be beautified by fields of blooming daffodils, but unfortunately their time is just comingvelik nasmeh; lp

Yesterday from Javorniški Rovt to Golica. Above Javorniški Rovt white carpets of fragrant daffodils, higher up, around the hut height, only a few blooming, mostly still in buds. Another 2 weeks, and they will be the real ones nasmeh

Today going from Križovec over Sedlo Suha across the ridge to the top of Golica. From a foggy morning it later developed into a nice day, at least for a couple of hours. Quite a few people, both at the top and around the hut. Since I don't have the habit of immediately flying back down when I reach the top, today at Golica top I also awaited the sun.nasmeh Returning past the hut and under the ridge back to Sedlo Suha, from there some more road walking to Križovec awaited me. Nice day, best wishes to all.

We also today on Golica despite not the best forecast had a nice day. Started at Javorniški Rovt where everything is full of already blooming daffodils and many more that will bloom. Also further from Sedlo Suha already quite a few blooming daffodils.

I'm interested in which path or combination of paths (for a circular route) on Golica is the nicest with the best views and the most daffodils.

I have the following circular route prepared for Sunday: Planina pod Golico-Savske jame-Markljev rovt-Sedlo Suha-along the ridge to Mala Golica and Krvavko-Golica-Jekljevo sedlo-along the slope to Koča pod Golico-and back to the valley past Betel. Total time about 6 hours-see you!

Yesterday we did the tour over Sedlo Suha-Golica-towards the hut and back to Planina pod Golico. The weather was excellent. We'll repeat the tour very soon...nasmeh lp

One question! Do daffodils usually grow all the way to the top or only on this slope that's most bloomed? Looking at pictures! And wondering if that's it for daffodils or more next week?
