Current conditions on Golica are good (if the mud doesn't bother you). There is only a sample of snow left, but caution is still needed in places. I was on Golica yesterday, 24.3.2011. Hope it's useful to someone... LP

Me too, I went to Golica (23.3.) but had to turn back halfway (home obligations), so didn't reach the hut . It was nice to walk on the path, except mud here and there.

I'm wondering if the narcissi are already blooming or when they will.

BGODAR, in my opinion the nicest is to go up in April-June, also because of the narcissi

We were on Golica yesterday. Weather clear (a bit cloudy in between), everything beautiful...

Yesterday from Javorniški Rovt to Golica. Above Javorniški Rovt white carpets of fragrant daffodils, higher up, around the hut height, only a few blooming, mostly still in buds. Another 2 weeks, and they will be the real ones

Hi Hribovc88, daffodils will hold until next week, still quite a few that are not yet bloomed. Good luck
Stankoju, a nice greeting from beautiful Gorenjska to all those on the fire brigade photo

Hello!
I'm interested in which path or combination of paths (for a circular route) on Golica is the nicest with the best views and the most daffodils.
Thanks in advance

I have the following circular route prepared for Sunday: Planina pod Golico-Savske jame-Markljev rovt-Sedlo Suha-along the ridge to Mala Golica and Krvavko-Golica-Jekljevo sedlo-along the slope to Koča pod Golico-and back to the valley past Betel. Total time about 6 hours-see you!

One question! Do daffodils usually grow all the way to the top or only on this slope that's most bloomed? Looking at pictures! And wondering if that's it for daffodils or more next week?
