jprim, definitely true that outdoor vegetables taste better than greenhouse vegetables. But at this time having lettuce outdoors is hard. But I had enough uncovered/covered lamb's lettuce in March that grew through the winter.

If there's no real vegetables at this time, there are other options, at my place there's definitely something in the freezer or pickled, so I'm always supplied with my produce, I take care of self-sufficiency. Regards

There was still redcurrants for two salad cupboards, so I decided to cook, as per real recipe, the best homemade jam. In the pot it cooked around 10l. Tomorrow I'll really take to Genovo, lp!
