About hut management here and abroad no need to waste words. Across the border they rebuild a ruined hut in a few years, here in a quarter century not even one WC. Money from tourism is enough, but goes to private pockets. How many times I've heard from hut staff that owner doesn't renovate anything, says it's fine as is, even about kitchen it's said. Abroad they always strive for improvements towards guests, here how much cash will trickle in over the season. In mindset and attitudes we differ from the start .

Trobec, since I understand finances a bit better and I'm tax office employee I looked closer at Planika bill, noticed bedding listed separately because VAT 9.5% for bedding, stay is 22% VAT, which is completely correct and in accordance with VAT law. Also checked their price list on PD-Gorje website, bill is completely correct and matches price list. This will be bad for you if they respond after you publicly exposed and slandered them as fraudsters, don't you think? Are you some financial expert too?

The keeper charged for sleeping on shared beds according to the price list with discount for PD members. 14 euros per person, which already includes bedding at 2.5 euros.
The price list clearly states that the bedding price is already included.
No eco tax was charged because according to the price list no eco tax for PD members.

Grega yeah, taxmen, can't even copy tax rates correctly from price list. Otherwise no problem here, all prices with tax. Problem is final price namely 1 EUR overcharged for shared beds per PZS rules (7-12 beds). Apparently no such rooms on Planika. So for shared beds should be 10.50 EUR.
Biggest little Slovene sneak is zippo, seems you're one, not telling anyone and let them steal further, bravo.
Žiga, look at bill again properly (13 EUR ?????, 11.5 + 2.5 = 14). And read bottom frame about bedding. As far as is known, he had his own.

We from Zasavje start from home at two in the morning. Before dawn we're already going through Vrata to Triglav, then back via Tominšek route to Vrata for a beer. By ten in the evening we're home again. We have no problems with any hut keepers.

exactly like that, we from Carinthia also go at 02.00 from home nicely over Ljubelj to Vrata, onwards as you described.
If something happens on the way and I arrive late down to the car, I nicely unroll the tarp, put the self-inflating mat, slip into sleeping bag and snore nicely and that's it.
And I don't get mad at hut keepers, down or up.
But true, if one pisses me off... in plain words, I tell him off nicely and go my way.
One guy at the hut won't spoil my mountain pleasure, right.
