Kanjavčeve police - Mira Marko Debelak Path

Zadnjica - Over Komar - Kanjavčeve Shelves - Zasavska Hut at Prehodavci - Over Dol - Zadnjica.
The safety gear on the path is impeccable, views wonderful. If it was still cold in Trenta in the morning, it was hot on the return. Otherwise, a nice loop above one of the most beautiful alpine valleys.

hello.
the picture showing the entry to Kanjavčeve shelves always raises a question in me: how and where do you get across?nasmeh is there a cable somewhere, or do you step on scree/sand? namely, it looks very slippery to me. thanks for the answernasmeh good luck

The actual entry to the path is in the basin below Dolič. We didn't go along the path to the entry, but crossed between boulders directly up under the wall. The trail is quite wide, old Trenta guys would say it's so wide that "you can push a cart across it". Otherwise it's a partly secured path (cables, pegs), here and there you need to use hands a bit. Picture 3 is just a detail from the path that's more worn, otherwise the path is very varied, also rocky.
Since off-trail doesn't trouble us, we chose a shortcut to the ledges1

With some mileage you can hike a good part of the path with poles mežikanje And at the end God forbid skipping Vršac, it's too beautiful to just pass by nasmeh

@turbo, poles, well we already know how it is with that, zavijanje z očmi but definitely recommend packing them properly on the right (if going from Dolič direction, reverse of course on left) side of the backpack, so no one accidentally snags on them on some edge and flies over the wall. As for Vršac I fully agree, just not always time for such pleasuresmrk pogled, also nice to stop at Vinkot if you have time, but you never have itzadrega

Igor, regarding poles you're of course right nasmeh

As for Vink though it's like this:

The two of us, with hiking companion, entered the Kanjavčeve police about 50 to 100 m of elevation before Dolič from the Zadnjica direction (well, back then there was still a snowfield so....). For us it was a wonderful tour, of course as always with the proper measure of caution... but I agree with @turbotom that the ascent to Vršac is the icing on the cake. It doesn't take more than 15 minutes plus at least another 30 minutes for enjoying the views... anyway, such a tour is something special and magnificent!!! We weren't at Vinkot though, so explain that to us...velik nasmehvelik nasmehvelik nasmehvelik nasmeh

Hello, first thanks for the answers. I'm interested in how this part is: http://www.hribi.net/slika.asp?razmere=387
is there a cable here? It looks quite delicate, namely.
thanks for the answer and good luck

zjala .. not as delicate as it looks nasmeh ..if there was a hiker on the pic, you'd have a better spatial feel..

zjala: traverse somewhere in the middle and it's not so scary as it looks at all. If you save the pic and enlarge it, you'll see the passage goes almost horizontally. nasmeh

I'd ask who Vinko is and where he is?

zjala, in this section the passage is first horizontal, the ledge is solidly wide but loaded, then you have to climb a bit and it might be a bit more tricky, but it goes.

From afar this entry really looks more delicate than it is! But true, the whole path requires concentration, but it's wonderful! mežikanje

@zjala, there's no cable in this section (and there are few on the path anyway). I understand your concern, as the frontal view (or photo review) looks quite "wild". In reality this intro part is ok, the path is well trodden, the horizontal ledge a bit gravelly, but no panic. But you have to ignore all the air under the Ship's Beak (locals apparently call this part thatmežikanje)
I'd say further on there's some trickier spot than at the start. But there you have the cable at hand. There are also sections in between where you don't feel like you're on a ledge in the middle of the wall.
Wishing you a safe path and enjoy!nasmeh

This path tempts me too. I'm wondering if everything is well marked. So the junction at Komar and then Kanjavčeve police? Thanks
like
IgorZlodej22. 08. 2012 16:12:21
The junction at Ut in Zadnjica is poorly marked, because the post where the signpost was has been down for years, but there's a visible path to the right from the mulatiera to Dolič and inscription on the rock, otherwise hard to miss, the path runs right along the "waterfall". Below Dolič there's inscription on rock and marks.

Don't fear this path, I did it "bare-handed" still as a "trainee" without experience in mountains, no problem. Always need respect for the mountains though. Good luck.

One more question: how many cables are there on this path on exposed terrain? thanks
