Also yesterday, on Wednesday excellent conditions for walking and enjoying Komna's beauties. Snow just right for good walking, the serpentine path not frozen, air temperature super. But we noticed shortcuts are quite frozen and icy, so on the way back we put on crampons and only on serpentines. No matter how many times we've been to Komna, it's always nice, especially in winter, in the sun. At the hut 70 cm snow, views from Podrte gore to Mahavšček, Bogatin, then Vrh gracije to Lanževec, all to Debeleg vrh...First we went to the hut under Bogatin, where we met hikers from the Ajdovščina area, our acquaintances, nice to see each other. In the hut friendly keepers from Uskovnica, who prepared excellent sarmas, strudel.
We observe nature, try to imprint all Komna's beauties. Recall memories of past trips, make plans for new ones...Of course we go to Dom na Komni too. Nice to meet one of the favorite keepers, Herman.
