I'd go from Okrešelj to Mrzla dol, then direct to Križ and other Rinke and descend through Turski žleb. Interested if winter gear needed for Rinke. Thanks for reply.

Yesterday on Koroška Rinka from Jezersko and past Kranjska hut on Ledine. Weather was really nice. 
Trail was quite demanding (I'm still more of a beginner) so I descended through Turski žleb instead. The scree path is a bit annoying and dangerous due to rocks flying down a lot.

Today my companion and I were on Koroška Rinka, then also Turska gora. Weather super, paths without features, met only friendly hikers, cold beer at Okrešelj, excellent goulash at Logarski kot......what more could you wish for?

17.08. did tour to Koroška Rinka via Križ: Tour went: Logarska dolina - slp Rinka-Okrešelj-Mrzli dol- over Križ-Koroška rinka-Štajerska rinka-Mala rinka-Mali podi-Turska gora-Kotliči-Okrešelj-Logarska dolina. Climbing path to Koroška rinka more exposed and harder than Kopinškova on Ojstrica. Helmet mandatory, self-belay not superfluous. Protections ok but lots of loose scree on ground. Last part really adrenaline, hands have plenty to do. Wire goes right to top. From top descended to Štajerska rinka, from where watched rescue of injured hiker under Turska gora. Then via Mala rinka to Turska gora. Descent via Kotliči, which is no fly path either. Special caution at entry to Sod brez dna. Down Kotliči gully to Okrešelj, surprised herd of young ibex on way, then back to Logarska dolina. Weather excellent, views good, lots of people so never alone on path. Lately besides mountains and views nice and chatty girls make the day .

Started at 7am from Logarska, down at 4pm. So 9 hours. To Koroška rinka exactly 4 hours. And was at top everywhere at least 30 min. Kranjska rinka can be connected - just descend to Mali podi and go around then ascend to it. Apparently possible directly across from Koroška rinka - but no path, terrain crumbly so most opt for descent and re-ascend. Otherwise nice tour, if enough fitness no problem, water also at Savinja spring where I stock up.

Domch, didn't you swap the crossing option with the crossing from Kranjska Rinka to Skuta? There you have to descend quite a bit to the Pode and then ascend again.
From Križ-Koroška Rinka you have to descend towards the Pode anyway, but only about 10 minutes, then you can easily hop to the top of Kranjska Rinka, which is about 20 minutes away.

In short, the ridge connection from Koroška to Kranjska Rinka exists, but due to this year's danger and the friability of the rocks it is discouraged, and as smidov david said, it takes a total of 20 min to descend from one and ascend to the other; over the ridge you save maybe 5 min because walking is much slower due to safety, of course if you arrive alive! I was there on 16.8. and climbed from the hut on Ledine; my recommendation is a self-belay kit due to friability and very high risk of slipping, without a helmet better not even think about it, although I ran into such types too. It's almost impossible to climb from Jezersko saddle or over Kotliče without triggering at least one stone; there are huge numbers of visitors and you can't see at all what's under or above you to warn them or be warned

I go from Kranjska to Koroška Rinka a bit below the ridge where there's no marked path and the slope is initially really strewn with huge scree then it goes on solid rock.
Redbull's picture shows the approximate path...

when I arrived at Križ - Koroška Rinka I needed 1h to go to Štajerska Rinka then to Kranjska Rinka and back to Koroška Rinka. Koroška and Štajerska Rinka are anyway very close...
