Thanks, now I'll fill these Rinkas with names according to mine. Next year up here from Logarska. Not this year anymore. I'm interested in Planjava from Logarska valley, climbing path through Turski žleb to Turska gora, through Matkov kot valley to see snow couloir Škaf, also to Rinkas from that side.

If you know which direction Styria, Carinthia and Kranj are in, then you won't have these problems at the Rinkas.
From Mala Rinka, first far left is Kranjska Rinka, in the middle Koroška or the cross which the secured path leads to, and right Styrian Rinka.

A week ago there was a loose peg below the summit in the gully holding the cable - a bit tricky there. Rest without issues.

Maybe someone knows the current conditions on the path from Okrešelj? Maybe some snow on the shady side?

today did the tour to Rinke from Okrešelj (up north path to Rinke and back through Turski žleb); also to Turski gora along the way.
on path to Rinke lower part one peg with cable torn (no problem), and higher at known exposed ledge also one peg with cable (bit tricky here, extra caution needed due to exposure).
Additionally in lower part of Turski žleb one piece of cable replaced (makeshift) with rope.
No other issues.

Hello! Just such a tour as Rutil described, I plan with buddy to do on Sunday, probably without ascent to Turska gora. Looks like nice weather. Interested how much approx time for whole loop and if via ferrata kit is necessary. We are quite experienced hikers and keep good pace. Nice thanks for info

I needed car to car 7.5-8h.
For SVK decide yourself - lots of cables and SVK can actually be used (not like e.g. Mrzla gora where SVK does nothing even if you have it).
Otherwise I went without.

me too was on Sunday on Rinka, start at 7.00 from Planšarsko parking, to Ledine via Slovenian path, then to K.Rinka, back to Ledine and down to Slovenian fork off to Czech hut because Žrelo closed and from Czech hut through forest back to parking.
To car at 16.30, with stops at Ledine 2x, at Rinka chatted too because wonderful day and at Czech.
As for SVK, I didn't take it and wouldn't need it, can do smartly without, but of course each person's judgment.
but on one part in that ridge on path to Rinke one peg pulled out and need good pull to get over as narrow, precipice below, up ok, down trickier, could repair it, secure it.
Otherwise path super.

Today not traversed, but climbed north via Križ to Kor. Rinka. From Okrešelj side the marked path is practically up to the summit where it joins the path from Jezersko - impassable. You have to leave the path to the right side of rocks and climb. The cable is in this part more than a meter under snow. I wrote this so that without climbing experience you don't go on this path, even if you have footprints now, because the difficulty is really high. Northern sides are heavily iced.
Report from the tour in the next few days.

It looks like it was a really tough tour for you, in the note I feel slight trace of panic. Choosing northern approaches now when there is too little snow is really risky. I am quite a bit older and go more safely, in younger years I did similar stupid things in mountains, but luckily survived. Today I set off from KB via Žmavčarji and past bivouac to Carinthian, Styrian and Carniolan Rinka. There is quite some snow, but went without problems. Crampons I used only on descent from Carniolan Rinka. Gaiters come in handy, because snow was southern and I fell into hole up to a... several times. Lp Miro

That's not true at all! Up climbing there is still cable under snow, so without ice axe you have nothing to seek there. Two mountaineers turned back Sunday just below summit.
