Better to buy gaiters than to mention that gadget for around the house or for iciness in the forest; they are good. As far as I know, from Prgarica onwards there is no more forest boundary or something suddenly shifted.

The ice axe in the picture (bright yellow-green color) is Stubai brand, bought during the Sarajevo Olympics.
That tool with the wooden handle is a pickaxe, about twice as old as the ice axe. Very useful if you get stuck in some icy wheel ruts; it happened to me this February or March.
On Friday I drove about 100m along the road from Kurja vas, but since I wasn't in the mood for driving through wheel ruts, I rather "crukal" and parked at the official parking lot.

Look at that technique. This is actually a semi-automatic ice axe model. You just lift it manually, down it falls by itself!

Some more today's pics for friends (Anja reminded me).
Conditions for skiing in the forest very demanding. Frozen crust, mainly too little snow for the slopes to be smoothly covered. Higher up better, but not ideal.

Hello, is the path from Krma to Kredarica suitable without crampons and ice axe? Maybe someone will "attack" me, but I'd rather ask the more experienced here than rush headlong.
