Once I suggested and I suggest again, that rating should simply be removed. Impersonal sticking of ratings, without explanation why to give a pic good or bad score anyway makes no sense. If someone likes a pic, they can say it in comments, (if not, they'll probably stay quiet ). The website ultimately isn't meant for rating photo quality, but for reporting conditions. Of course we're all happy with good pics, at least I like looking at them, but I don't rate. Best Peter S.

I completely agree, Peter. Unfortunately today it's the case that many are dependent on positive ratings of their photos or actions!!! Lp. Marko

Ratings depend more or less on who posts the photos . The photo isn't so important, but the one who posts it. That's certainly the case on this forum, where most hikers are via computer . Envy is big, but hard to know why. Putting on boots isn't so hard and heading into nature.

Marko, for ratings on this forum, especially since it's a layman's forum, I don't worry about them nor am I dependent on them, but I'm still interested in the justification of the bad rating... If nothing else, what's so very wrong It's true, even if I posted my best photos on this forum, there'd always be some patient... Despite being well received in photo circles Since the forum is intended for the general public and mountain conditions, I also post worse photos showing the state in the mountains and the moments we experience up there. Best, Simon

I also agree with the proposal to abolish photo rating. Rating is completely unrealistic, the only criterion is likeability, which often doesn't reflect the true value of the image (informativeness, quality, composition,...). Therefore, rating is completely unnecessary. There are other portals for rating image quality. Have a nice day still! Darko

And this self-promotion in elementary school English gets posted for free out of pity?

Simon, nicely written Well, for the more demanding you'll obviously have to write at least twice more, namely in highly professional space English and primary Latin

"Jesenice is about forty minutes from Ljubljana. Less than thirty if you push it. In any case too far to make it worth going home and back to bed. When the raindrops started slamming into the car and I was wiping them off the windshield with not entirely appropriate driving, I did catch myself thinking for a moment if I should maybe turn around after all and return home among the pile-dwellers. Time-wise I would actually blend perfectly with the Ljubljana 'scenes' and other partygoers leaving the 'parties'. On Dunajska, pushing towards the city and bed, I'd inevitably endure the thumping bass and provocations from guys with small dicks in big and/or expensive cars. Here and there I'd brake sharply so as not to hit some student chick, drunk in high heels swaying on the sidewalks like a pile of hay before mating..." Photo report with extended record here!

Such a derogatory note full of superiority I'd sooner expect on some hiker-bashing portal than here, but it seems the phobias of the modern world have spread beyond all rationally acceptable boundaries!

mailman, "fouš" for such immature, childish and at the same time elevated writing? Yeah, that'll be it!
