The path started at Vršič at 9 "in the morning". When we arrived at Hanzova, hordes of Czechs awaited us, moving like snails. We overtook them on the unprotected side by climbing. Once we shook off that horde, the path was really pleasant. Pegs and cables are in good condition. The sun came out and we reached the summit in 1 hour and 40 minutes. We continued to Velika and Zadnja Mojstrovka, where there are also no snow patches and the path is easily passable.

This morning first to Slemenova špica then via Hanzova to Mala Mojstrovka. We saw a beautiful sunrise, but at the top only fog and no views.
The path is without issues and snow.

if you go too far to the right you cross the dwarf pines

Had to take Mateja via Hanzova to Mala Mojstrovka. So we went, Metod was also there. At MM we decided to go to Velika too, where we met Marijan /strelec 54/, and we extended to Zadnja Mojstrovka. From the top, descent via scree and ascent to Suhi vrh. Weather ideal for hiking, just quite some wind at the start, and some sun too. Descent to Vršič via scree. At Vršič quite lively. Motorcyclists, cyclists.........

Today via Hanzova to MM and southern via south scree to Ticarjev for quick radler. Since today is about speed (we're in a hurry...), from Vršič to the entrance of Hanzova I ran and the summit came already in under 58 mins. Path nice despite yesterday's rain not wet, people in the morning a bit later, on return our pass packed full. Nice day even nicer morning

My step nicely measured, no stomping with rock triggering, as climber I mastered it. Met a couple who slipped a bit in the wall as the girl felt bad. Offered banana but she didn't want it, we said a few words and wished them nice day. That's all. More on my step they can write themselves nasmeh

@miran Severni raz is a climbing route IV.

@jus you won't believe 2 ropes were already there early morning at the peaks.. otherwise today I had no mood to deal with mine because Austria shopping was on the menu.. and the phone was already ringing.. and I also wouldn't have managed the route in 50 min... but holiday soon and I'll climb your "rock&roll ridge" so some sp won't escape.. nasmeh

I'm curious which path is more suitable or easier - Hanz's to Mojstrovka or Slovenska to Mangart? I've already walked both paths without problems, but this time I'd take mom for the first time on a climbing path (her wish of course). She is fit, has no problems with height, and will of course use the via ferrata kit. I've already forgotten which is easier, maybe Hanz's? Please advice. Thanks nasmeh

Both are about the same. In my opinion, it's easier on Mangart. Matter of subjective judgment.

Yesterday nice circular tour over Slemenova Špica and Hanz Path to Šitna Glava and back towards Vršič. On Hanz Path lots of hikers, fixed gear in good condition. Views wonderful. Best regards.
