Although I haven't walked in this area lately, you don't have to worry. It's definitely trampled, not much snow, and count if you go from the parking at the bus there somewhere 3-4 hours' walk to the hut.

Like countless times this year, also this time gold medal for trampling, hehehe. Start at Lipa, couple hundred meters along the road, then into forest where there were animal tracks here and there. The day looked foggy and not promising, but these are mountains and changes are quick. From this side no old tracks visible, but they showed here and there before Bibo pasture, where on the road from Tuhinj Valley, at least from the side I came, drifts visible, where they start hard to say. MP summit didn't offer its wonderful views today, but no matter, nature around me was real winter fairy tale and trees dressed in white carnival masks, and sun, and silence, itaq...nobody. As for path from GG, tracks of hikers and touring skis visible, so no fear, otherwise trampling is nice too and healthy , snow around 10-20 cm, sometimes more, as MP full of drifts, recommend gaiters and poles.

Really beautiful Menina pasture, even more beautiful in winter. I go up there often directly from home-Bočna. Walking cca 4 hours, nice tour for a walk, if someone wants to join let them report. Janez

Menina already fully spring-like, first visit to pasture without snow. Weather not the most favorable, but anyway from Gornji Grad - to loosen the bones.

Menina (ŠAVNICE-Goli vrh 1426m)
Early morning start from Slapi towards Bibi pasture to Šavnice summit to watch the earliest sunrise this year, almost missed it because some clouds were messing around there.

I'd ask if the 8th pic is the Šavnice summit. Very interesting terrain for paraglider takeoff, of which there are very few on Menina pasture due to too flat terrain.

On Saturday we did a short trip on Menina with Bibe to the hut on Menina. Views on Zasavje hills were best from Bibe, on Kamnik-Savinja Alps a few minutes from hut on Menina. Nearby we checked chapel too. Lots of cyclists and hikers, on way back already quite some livestock grazing. Lp

From the pics I see you had decent weather, I had fog, wind, snowing on Sunday, not nothing. Winter conditions. But still it was super. A bit struggling through deep snow, but FAJN!!
