oh yes, we're there already... it would be nice if those who don't intend to answer the asked question refrain from commenting

Of course "ugn", we'll be there in the bright daylight and make tracks for all the sleepyheads. You'll just have to find them so your gaiters don't get wet.

Stol will probably get visitors already in the morning, I always wait one day and then head out on Sunday. Where would you go?

Igor your spots above Bovec in winter are almost mission impossible, but Janez and I think more of easier peaks like towards Stol, Viševnik or just to some pasture, viewpoints as shown in Janez's picture on Pokljuka. You go, walk, more and more snow and you go a bit further to the tree and turn around, that shouldn't be hard or "perhaps"...

Those weekend huts on the Zajamniki pasture on Pokljuka look like this in an arc, if I'm not mistaken. Really beautiful winter idyll. It's usually photographed with a view towards Bohinj. This winter I'll surely visit it, otherwise every winter I crisscross Pokljuka lengthwise and crosswise on cross-country skis. What I like best is frozen snow that doesn't sink and you can go all over Pokljuka. L.P.

A nice mountaineering greeting to everyone! I have one question, namely, could you advise me on some beginner, easy winter tour? I've been hiking in the mountains since I was small, on trails of all difficulties, but I've always wanted to do a winter tour in the high mountains too... Thanks for the help! Best regards

Or rather I'll say differently, which are the more visited peaks at height around 2000m?

Oh boy! Before /avalanche/ of speculations pours in, better use search (blue tab at top), because there is at least one long discussion on this topic.

peaks above Krvavec, which are a few meters short of 2000, but have very easy access, you'll get the high mountain feeling anyway, with a nice view of KSA

Tomorrow and Sunday women's jumps in Planica, but maybe someone knows how parking is during such events, free, crowded, if anyone is going towards Tamar. http://www.24ur.com/sport/zimski_sporti/v-planici-trening-skakalk-odpovedan.html

In winter, Ljubljanans in Planica don't charge for parking. When there are jumps, it's included in the entrance fee. No crowd tomorrow, though. To avoid misunderstandings why Ljubljanans—on the parking ticket it's Podutiška ulica, Ljubljana.

Hi, can you suggest some winter destinations (mainly to huts), that are visited enough so snow is somewhat trodden and chain microspikes with 2cm teeth suffice for access, without gaiters and ascent about 1.5-2h. I.e. interested if in winter with mentioned gear such goals are accessible: Uršlja gora from Poštarski dom, Blejska koča and Debela peč from Rudno polje ... Thanks in advance.

Uršlja gora from Poštarski isn't such a goal (more trampling), but Uršlja gora from Ivarček lake is such a goal (usually trodden at first snowflakes)
